i've been thinking on this for a while and decided today to try and fix the issue with the left one and backseat one. Thanks for the sumple and quick video.

Wow brother. I knew it was a simple fix and you won’t believe I just came back from an Hyundai dealership and not 1 but 2 mechanics both didn’t know that. They told me I had to replace the cigarette lighters for both the driver side and the second row. I didn’t believe them and left frustrated. Sure enough you proved my point. Thank you.

Dealership Mechanics can be like politicians sometimes. They will try to $crew people out of every penny they can..

thanks solved my problem although my unit is the other way around left side fuse is located inside the car and right side is on engine compartment. your tutorial helped alot.specially location of spare and the fuse puller.thanks brother

omg okay watching this because my Santa Fe fuse won't charge, but with how informative this is i was hoping you would know... I TOOK my Hyundai in because the infamous "loading" screen is on my radio... yes it still works ut cant connect my phone, can't see what station i am on, or what temperature i have on the driver or passenger side is on... after taking it into the dealership they said it would be just under $6000 with $4000 in LABOR.... i took it home, after paying $125, got online saw it might be the CD player, took the whole radio out, disconnected the cd player. that still didn't work. i put the radio back in, and just said "ill buy a new one i guess" but of course, as i am sure with everyone else, the pandemic hit hard, and that's the least of my concerns right now... i saw somewhere that a new fuse might help? is this true? PLEASE HELP a single mom get to know what station is on while driving her son to school.!!!

Hi Tyrone. Unfortunately I don't. From what I have heard, usually the USB/aux is a single unit and the quickest way to fix is to just replace the entire part. Unfortunately I don't have access to a Santa fe right now to make a video on it. Sorry :(

That may be a fuse issue or an issue with the actual USB port. If so, then you would need to get the actual USB port fixed.

Will this also work on santa fe 2012?

Not sure because it was a different body style. Should be minor differences in terms of fuse diagram, but largely it should be the same!

follow instructions. power out let worked then tried Cig lighter outlet and it did not work. Went back to power outlet and now it doesn't work. Bought brand new fuses and tried. Same result. Disconnected battery replaced fuses, reconnected battery and tried and got same result. Suggestions?

Hmm. Did you plug in something that draws a lot of current ? Water kettle ? Multiple laptops ? Anything like that ?

That's odd. Sounds like a short circuit somewhere. Can't really tell more without looking. Sorry :(

So if I use the spare fuses do I have to replace them or I can just leave the spare empty 🤔

You can leave the spare fuse slot empty for now, but I would advise getting the new spare fuses , you know never when you might need them in the future again for some other issue.

The USB port / Aux Port is a single part and it has to be replaced. It's a common issue with these cars.
