Hi could you sort me some photo of how wiring goes at front please like near yolk.ect and on sides im.rebuilding 1 and stuck with how wires look . Also i be looking at getting the matt black kit in next 3 weeks
How do you fix the fog lights with the front mask and the side mask which comes over to the front?
How do you install the bolt that holds the fule tank in place
Please where do I buy the fairing kit and the bolts and nuts from I’m in Ghana and we don’t have a Yamaha shop here
Hey, what is the name of the part shown at 3:37 with the yamaha Logo on it? I really need this one :D
Do you have a video on how to strip it down before the fitting

We don't, but it is in the works!
By the way you missed the part where the front of the indicator panel attaches to a bracket underneath the headlights. Use a chimney nut and self tapping screw to secure these points in place.
Could you possibly put the link for the bolt kit? Would be great!

This is valid feedback, thanks. We do have a fitting kit in the pipeline. From memory, some M6x15 bolts and nyloc nuts are best for the mudguard bracket. You can use rivets like the OEM but that makes swapping in future more of a hassle.
Wow, 👍
does this kit come with all screws? also do i need that mud gaurd metal plate to use this?
@MotorcyclePartsWarehouse
2 ай бұрын
Hello - the kit does not come with screws or the metal plate from the mudguard. It is possible to reuse the plate from the original mudguard if you drill out the rivets. We replaced the rivets with bolts to make it easier to swap out. At one point there was a bolt kit in the pipeline...perhaps at some point in the future hopefully.
Hi! I have YZF R125 2017 And i bought the upper cockpit for the YZF R125 2014- 2016 Will it fit on my bike? I never fount any for the year 2017

Hello - the second generation YZF runs from 2014-2018, so you should be good with the one you bought! Any parts for 2014-2016 will fit the 2017 and 2018 bikes as well - hope that helps

You've probably figured this out by now! I believe they are M6 chimney nuts for the side fairings, if I remember rightly. Should need 14 in total.
Does not show you have to fit the indicator panel under the Headlights as they do not simply clip together?

Hi Will - the kit doesn't come with nuts and bolts - we are working on putting a bolt kit together though...
Do the black fairings still come unpainted on the interior sides? Like what I saw with the boomerang panels.
@MotorcyclePartsWarehouse

yes they do - all the infill panels are moulded in black ABS, but all of the painted panels are unfinished on the reverse

@@MotorcyclePartsWarehouse Thats a really shame. Looks like I'll have to paint the interior myself. Do you know the exact colour code that is used for the fairings exterior?
@MotorcyclePartsWarehouse
Жыл бұрын
@@sirterry2444 yes I know! We'll speak to the manufacturer and see if there is anything we can do, but that'd be a long term project. The colour code tends to change batch to batch - I've just had a look at our bike and it isn't really that noticeable once fitted. If it really bothers you the boomerang panels seem to be the only ones which are visibly unpainted on the back.

There are a range of sizes required, depending on where the fairing is fixed. We potentially have a fixing kit in the pipeline...you can re-use the original bolts for your fairing (if you have them) or some people also sell generic fairing bolt sets. We'll update you when/if the fitting kit is listed!

@@MotorcyclePartsWarehouse thanks alot !
I really hate to be negative but this fairing kits didn't come with pop rivets which are absolutely needed for the front mudguard, specifically when it comes to fixing the metal plates and brackets used for bolting it to the front forks and securing the brakes and speedo cables too. Since there's literally no information about it on google (trust me I've checked) I got no choice but to buy loads of metal pop rivets until I find the right ones. If you guys know the size of the rivets used originally in the front mudguard please reply this is crucial missing information.
@MotorcyclePartsWarehouse
Жыл бұрын
Hello - not negative at all SirTerry! What we did was replace the rivets with M6x12mm button head allen bolts and nyloc nuts. It makes replacing mudguards a lot less hassle in future. We used the same bolts for the brackets to attach to the forks and they work perfectly. We haven't tried using blind rivets on our bike, so I'm afraid we don't have information on which to use, but I'm hoping the bolt dimensions will give you something to go on. Let us know if you have any other questions.
