Here come the negative post lol. Great setup!! the fire extinguisher I'd move to the back even in the draw. Just because it right next to the possible source of ignition. Hate to see you rig burn down.

Supercheap used to do a mean kit for an auxiliary battery. Had a digital relay that would isolate the vehicle battery. It would charge the house battery on overflow from the alternator. Never ran out if power and never drained my vehicle batteey

Oh yeah nice, the Kick ass battery box has all that built in but is definitely on the expensive side of the scale. I'm not too great with electronics so I went with a simple pre made product instead. 😁

Thanks! From an Australian company called Ontap. You can find a link for this product in the video description! 🤙🏼
Great video mate just a question could you build the box using nycel as i wanted to fit out my ute cheers
@LetsRipIn
9 ай бұрын
Hey mate, I wouldn't recommend as the screws can strip in the nycel quite easily. The ply is alot better in that regard. Hope this helps.
Nice one mate, how much smaller do you cut your panels to allow for the carpet, but still make them tight?
@LetsRipIn
Жыл бұрын
Hey mate, 2mm was good for me but it will depend on the carpet 👍🏻
Very nice build! What carpet did you use?

Awesome build dude, what carpet did you use? Has it lasted and is it easy to hoover sand out of?
@LetsRipIn

Thanks mate! The link for the carpet is in the description, it was just cheap stuff but the sand came out okay but not great! Wouldn't hurt to get some qaulity stuff I reckon

I used 16mm galvanised button heads mate. If your going into the metal tum tho i would recommend some Galvanised self tappers 👍🏻
