Nice one. It's good to see small business Aussie companies doing well. Another thing I like about your channel is that you keep the whole topic (start to finish) in one episode. Other KZreadrs would have most likely stretched this topic over a few episodes (obviously 4WD builds are different). Keep up the excellent editing work. Makes watching your episodes entertaining.

@@AussieArvos The length of this video is just spot-on for the topic👌 Even if it was an hour long, it's still so much better than having to wait another week to see the conclusion. Besides, your editing work made it feel shorter that it was. A clear indication for me that I found it entertaining. Keep it up 👍

Well done for supporting Aussie companies (incl. Evakool). I hope the boys at The Drawer Company pick up more business as a result of this episode. If you're in your mid-20's I'm nearly twice your age but you continue to inspire me with my own 4WD (also an 80 Series but an FZJ80). Well done on the brilliant editing. Keep up the great work 👍

Agreed! About that gap, the reason it is there is because at the time i wasn't sure what exact fridge i wanted, so to keep options open we left a bit of room, plus i wanted a bit for height for the draws :) but I will be building something to fit in there at home soon!

I recon sneak another drawer in the void on top of the fridge, maybe store a cooker or utensils in there. also the fridge is huuuuge, overkill in my opinion.... we managed with an engel 40l for a family of 4 for a lot of big trips, just need to be space conscious and meal prep. You've got no excuse for running out of cold beers now at least!

Great build and great to see a Aussie business doing these draws. But. A lot of guys get the rear draws, big fridges and recovery gear into the wagons and don’t realise they are at or over gvm. I’ve had draw systems before because I wanted to have things more organised, but in the end it just showed I was taking too much stuff on trips. I’ve had my tourer parked up for months with weeks of food sitting in it that I’d never use on 99% of my trips. Now I plan for the next trip, only pack what I need or will use and sold the rest

To any DIYers out there. The rail system looks just like Dell Ready Rails (or any generic server rails for that matter). You can pick these up from used IT retailers for next to nothing. As an IT engineer, I know I'll be making a similar system to these out of server rack rails.

Looks the goods and will make life a whole lot easier living out of the back 👌 I built my own drawers about 6 years ago and know what's involved and this company seems to have great ideas to maximise the space. The only thing I've come to realise over time is the amount of weight in the drawers is quite significant, to the point I'm seriously considering removing all or part of them to shed some weight. It's a tough call to make especially when you've made them . . . . . . . . . .. . Will see how that goes 😅👍

Hey mate, based on your comment it sounds like you've got a PB/PC Challenger! I've got the same vehicle and actually tackled this issue by building a small wooden platform that is slightly elevated off the floor. Not only is it strong enough to hold the weight of drawers and a fridge on top, it also has just enough space underneath it to fit a small folded table or any other flattish gear you've got (plus you have full access to the spare tyre winch to drop it).
