How to fit Jaguar ACM (audio connectivity module) to XJ, X type, S type

My Jaguar S Type, along with the Jaguar XJ and X Type of the same era, come as standard with either CD player, Mini Disc player or, cassette player.
An optional extra was the Audio connectivity module or ACM which allows connectivity to USB, Ipod or even an auxillary input.
The part number for the part i am fitting is C2C40513 which i found on eBay for £250 and superceded part number C2S46365.

You can get a adapter for hdmi to RCA plu in a Roku in the trunk where the dvr navigation is,, less than 50.00

Hello, can you help me? I have a X350 with CD radio and climate with big fan knob. I would like to retrofit the original sat NAV and climate module. Is It possibile? I ser the climate i have has 2 connector therefore the NAV module has 1 connector only. Then I suppose the NAV One used cam like protocol to activate switch and other stuff so I Need some information about It. Can't find much in forums; evryting Is related to s type or x type. Thanx

As far as I am aware, the x, s and xj systems are almost identical apart from the unit itself which varies in a couple of buttons. The info you found for x, s type should also apply
What if my 2008 XJ Vanden Plas can only hold one CD, not the multiple CD changer?

Have you checked the CD changer is not in the boot? Never seen one without it. Definitely don't expect it from a Vanden Plas

I have one installed, but dont know how to activate it and use it..... so I select CDC?

Yes select CDC then the switch in one position will be cd changer and the other will be whichever input you are using

@@MarksWheels just buy a FM receiver like I have in mine.. The first one I had was a £20 cheapy from Amazon then I decided I wanted dab too so I got a pure highway 400 cost £60 and fitted in 10 minutes.. no dash out .. 👍

I had one but didn't like the sound quality but agree this is a lot of work just to stream off my phone with better quality sound lol.
