Thanks for this. I am tiling so needed to know how to take the rail off which of course is the opposite of what you have done. Very simple. I've just read the other comments and read the one about "are you wearing trousers".????????????? Scratching me head about that one. Totally gob smacked..

Don't forget to also use a little RTV on the plugs to seal the screws holes. Use sanitary RTV to avoid mold.

Great video. I’m planning to fit exactly the same thing, but worried about drilling into hidden pipe work. I imagine the 8mm tiles would be on some form of plywood so I have at least 20mm fixing length, which might be long enough given the very light load. However it would be great to have some tips about how to avoid drilling into hidden services. Thanks

You can buy stud finders so you could try to find timber to screw into. I built my wall so I knew where the timber was. If you are drilling my advice would be to go really slow and don't push too hard. You could try a strong magnet but that won't work for plastic water pipe! Best of luck.

Hi Gary, just a standard masonry bit will do. You may want a diamond tip if drilling porcelain. Thanks again for watching!

Silly question: when taking out those Allen screws, should they just fall out? I’ve been trying to unscrew them (it does turn), but they still stay in the hole. Do you need to pry it out?

Depends on the bracket I guess. You could try sliding the plastic caps out with the Allen bolt in. Sometimes they are designed not to come out so they don't fall and get lost. Probably not much help sorry but main thing is don't force it in case you break it. That said if you're replacing the bracket then it doesn't matter if you break it guess! Best of luck with it!
