Hey, it's Angler Waki here with a special tutorial on the legendary Senko by Gary Yamamoto. I've noticed that detailed instructions on using the Senko are hard to come by these days - perhaps it's become common knowledge?
I made this video as a step-by-step guide on how to use the Senko for newcomers to the world of bass fishing. But I hope this video can be a refresher for seasoned anglers, too.
In this tutorial, I'll be using a 3-inch Senko Weightless Texas with a light spinning tackle setup. Good for a bank fishing.

My go to bait, and the ika is my favorite one.. especially when rigged backwards.

Caught my first bass, and second bass ever, here in Iwakuni,JP, on a floating jerkbait minnow. Gonna try this Senko thing out again tomorrow…with more patience.

No difference in the action and Texas rigging gives you better hook up ratio. Wacky rig is overrated.
