Doesn't work for me either, and when I go to configure port it says "operation not suported"

operation not supported !!!. What windows do you have. This method does not require a specific Windows. It works with all Microsoft versions. The method is explained on many websites and also on many other channels. I think you have something wrong. Good luck to you

All I can see in the printer (Canon PIXMA MX450 series) properties > ports tab is an IPv6 address (useless to me) and the printer's MAC (not so useless, made it easier to identify in router). There is no IPv4 address. On an unrelated note; after upgrading to W11, the printer's Test Page is completely different from the W10 version. It doesn't show the IPv4 address on that anymore either. WTF? Why is so much more difficult to find a printer's IPv4 address now? I had to go into my router settings to find it. Not that it helped me any. I still can't print anything while connected to a VPN. The only reason I needed the IPv4 address in the first place and the "solutions" provided by NordVPN don't even work. Waste of time.
This method does not work, I have a port that calls USB001 and that tell me nothing. When I click on configure port it says "not allowed" and bidirectional support is enabled

Sir, you should know that this method works for printers that are connected to the network and not connected to a USB cable. If your printer works via a USB cable. This method is of no use to you. Send me the printer model. I hope you have known this parameter. I thank you👊
