S/O to all the folks here who have been told, "PUSH HARDER!!!" by your uneducated, old school voice teacher or choir director!🎉😂 Blessings to you, Madeleine, for taking time and much thought about how to teach this "mysterious" topic in the voice industry. I love the way you encourage and gently coach us through your tutorials.❤❤

Though your head injury was tragic… I am so grateful, and so happy for you and even inspired by you you were able to come back from that. The beautiful thing is you had to come back with all the knowledge you have, into a place of a beginner. This dear one, makes you a better teacher. God bless you 🙏🏼🙌🏾🎶🙂✨🌸 Bravo, precious heart, bravo🏅✨

You are truly a gifted explainer of this process and our own tendencies as we submit ourselves to it. This could be one of the best KZread videos on finding/discovering/cultivating awareness of mixed voice ever as far as I'm concerned. I honestly don't know how this could be taught with any more knowledge, awareness, sensitivity, humility and care. I could go on and on.....Thanks

Heh belting high notes, that used to be me '^^ learning the sensation for head voice and mixing into it was such a huge revelation Im currently trying to learn the correct amount of support for each note, any videos demystifying airflow and breath control would be fantastic!

❤ I only discovered you last night, but been doing the warm up. And I am on Starmaker, joined 3 months ago, but last night after I warmed up with you, people were amazed and thought I am a professional singer. Thank you so much.

this is THE MOST helpful video or instruction by a coach i have EVER seen/received. i am so absolutely incredibly thankful and after YEARS of working on this your explanation and the sensations you were feeling made complete sense. it’s interesting though, because i can easily access my mix from D5 onward, which is when you said “we are well into head voice now.” i can mix up into probably an F5. i find that i experience a very comfortable, easy sensation when i hit those notes in mix and i know exactly what it feels like and when i’m on it. it’s just that darn A4-C5 that gets me every time. because some songs require those notes to be sung easily and lightly in a mix but i can only belt them/do a chest heavy mix. i wonder if anyone else has this issue.

Just found you Madeleine and your methods are great ! … I noticed you don’t answer questions… if you did answer questions I would ask you if you have a video on the transition break between A flat and A 4 for a man (and some women). You did say that was where your break was. It’s very tricky to negotiate between that half step.

Hello thanks. I have a question not related to the mix voice. I have definetly no sound over a b5 . Is that my physiological vocal limit? I have improved my voice through the years but I could never use these A5 and B5 . I suppose I am a mezzo so I should hit these notes, but I can't. Any advice?

There is a question that asks when to use the chest and when to use the mixed voice. I mean can we push the chest voice in order to get a few stronger upper notes especially if the song's highest notes are the D or E or F above the middle C? When singing Indian movie songs, these are often rendered by a "macho" hero on the screen (and of course he just lip synchs to a singer's voice that was pre-recorded) and it doesn't often come out right if sung in mixed or head/false voice. Usually this happens on the notes that are at and around the break and most songs have them.
