I wish I could share this comment with an idiot I foolishly entertained albeit briefly! Dude would speak profanities and in the same breath tell me he would win me to Christ as I was "too much "! Ah!
It's funny how the older I get the more love I have for myself and happy with my single life. I know I'll be married one day but I'm not lonely or feel any type of pressure for a mate. And more importantly I know what type of man I wouldn't tolerate.

I'm an independent woman. I believe in bringing my 💯 to the table, however, I believe in the posture of a man opening the door, pulling me towards the inside when we walk. Pay the bill when we go out. But, I agree with what you say, I invited you for coffee, not a meal. Ladies we need to not only hear but listen.

You talk about being independent, yet, looking for what seems like a protector. Problem with a number of women, you are too quick to throw out that word, independent. Truth is, most women are and you do not need to state this as it is usually obvious. State what you want from a man without the need to state being independent.

I always split the bill with my partner. Can't imagine him paying everytime we go out. We are partners with the same equal responsibilities and this is what makes us both independent.

I have started growing in fumi nation though 23 yrs, it blessing to me and am happy I have learned how to be myself and don not allow any man to abuse me and waste my time.
Steve Harvey has always stated this, be intentional and the four criteria’s - spiritual maturity, emotional intelligence, financial stability, and health and wellness. I love this collaboration and would love to see more collaborations occasionally, on key life topics.
I'm using this day time 30 min date idea. I literally take myself to fancy dinners, museums, shows, solo vacations and the like. This is the piece that's the great equalizer for me. On my run in the park today I thought how I just want to have a picnic with a nice guy who I like and who likes me. I love myself and treat myself like a Queen! However, a partner would be nice.
An influencer who actually adds my continent to their world tour??? Ughh Fumi you're one in a million😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💘💘💘💘

I don't agree with buffer dates/ice cream dates/coffee dates/Cheap dates because that's not the type of man I want. But I do agree with setting a date during the day. Get to know him maximum 2 hours then go straight home after that. Fit and stuff can change so I don't think it's necessary for him to be fit. The mindset of the man is important to me long term.

@Mel C I agree, in addition we don't just get ready for the date, it's also for ourselves and to be seen by other men as well, (if one is looking for a man).

I also do not agree with the idea that a girl should pay for her food when she’s on her first date. I think I can consider myself a generous person both to men and women but I’m sure that having to pay for my meal on a date you set up will make me feel like you’re not ready to take care of me or you’re just a person that’d want that 50/50 contract in marriage and I definitely don’t want that. I’m trained to care for people I love even financially as long as I can afford it. I happily clear out bills for my friends and give them stuffs even without them asking. So it’s very absurd that a man who I’d probably spend my life with refuses to pay for just a meal I ordered on a date he had set up. I mean its a different thing if he’s not financially prepared to cover for it. I’m not even a foodie, I don’t eat greedily and I can definitely clear my bills so if a man tells me that on a date he organized, that’s a red flag. I know how much I’m willing to invest in my marriage and my spouse so it’s his loss❤

There is something about this man that just doesn’t sit well with my spirit 😂 This is honestly the “First & Only” video of Fumi that I just couldn’t continue watching pass 15:16:00 😂
Just find a man who PROVIDE financially and protects you. Period. If he cannot provide for you and care for you to be a better woman, leave him. Practise Hypergamy ALL the way, ladies.
I absolutely love the idea of a buffer date. We are grown and busy. This keeps both of us from wasting time and being uncomfortable unnecessary. If things click, we can be more exited for the official first date. Loved the interview and golden nuggets!
If we all follow God's plan for us, we will never go wrong. He wants us to live life and live it ABUNDANTLY! Obedience to His will and purpose is paramount to this.
No matter what you do. You can't keep a Man who doesn't want you or wants to be kept. Simple.
I am loving these sister to brother episodes.

Wow! You're my dad's birthday mate. It's been hard getting unbiased advice, since he passed 4 years ago. Now I know why you're the only person whose advice I don't joke with on KZread. I love you. I will drive 4 hrs to Chicago when you come. I've dreamt of meeting you. Love you
As Women we should all love ourselves, this is paramount. We are all more than the last four digits of our ss numbers. We should stop trying so hard to look for someone to quantify who we are, a decent man will come along when you're not looking the age does not matter.
I knew your energy and compassion was giving off an Aries, but I never asked. My late brother’s birthday was April 16th🕊️and my birthday is April 18th😌This video was filled with so many nuggets🙌🏾
Hi there Fumi. I’ve heard so many of these dating tips from multiple platforms. All my life (even in my prime when I was younger.. I’m 37) I’ve never had this experience. Example: men approaching me that are actually interested in dating me. All of them just wanted sex. Not once have I had a man actually pursue me. I was married, but even that was an entire lie and a pool of manipulation. I’m 6’0 tall, a little overweight, a recently divorced single mother of 4 boys and I feel like I’ll never date again. I don’t know Fumi..I know I have to physically take care of myself, mentally heal, etc…it’s just hard.
OMG Fumi, love this hair and make-up! You're serving looks!
Aunty Fumy, that hairstyle is fireee. You look great
Love the buffer date, this way I’m not wasting my time.
Damn Fumi, that hair, makeup and outfit is on point.
I'm overweight b/c I've been in VERY consistently stressful environments that I had no control over and that kept weight on me no matter how I gymed, ate healthy, or tried my best to be stress free. I feel like every big woman should never be viewed as 'unqualified' to be chosen by a man to marry b/c he thinks she's going to cook badly for him and their children. As with the small woman who may have a lot of health problems, so as with the big woman who may have NO health problems the man should conversate with her to see what's what. Some women, once in a happy married and and in a stress-free or low-stress environment, will become the 'BEST VERSION' of themselves.
@jasirahsayyad8499

I could be wrong but I also believe another meaning to the health aspect, was if she is able to nurture herself and give herself sustenance holistically, how then that will translate over to her aptitude to produce a home life of functionality and not a home life of instability. In simple terms, how you take care of yourself is how you will take care of others, and it's the smallest things that determine the most about our character. I believe it's similar to how a man handles money.
@nurselora681
Жыл бұрын
I disagree with your statement how you take care of yourself has no bearing on how you take care of others. The majority of women are nurturing caregivers who place others needs before their own. I found his statement to be disrespectful, shallow and belittling. We should not be judged nor selected as partners based on our outer appearance.

Thank you for the video ❤️ I'm really sad because guys only objectify me all the time and don't even try to get to know my personality. It's so hard to find a man who is single, waiting for marriage and serious about me. Right now I'm 26 years old and starting to lose hope... It's really hard on my self worth right now. My dear, I’m 43. I knew at 20 that I was marriage material. What I did NOT know then is that most men and not ready to settle down and marry until 30+. Yes, some attempt it before, but a lot of them are still maturing and trying to get themselves together before making such a huge commitment. I didn’t get married until 32 and my husband was 37. But it’s better to marry later with the right one than to marry young and wrong just for sake of being married. If I could go back, I would tell my younger self not to worry about this at all. Life and marriage unfolds just the way it’s supposed to, and you don’t have to try to force anything. Just go, enjoy your life, and prepare yourself. It will come when it’s the appointed time, and it won’t be one second late.

You are not too late for anything! I heard a pastor say something during my teenage years that I carried well into my adulthood. “Man can give you a turn, but God can give you time.” Meaning, people may overlook you, but when God blesses you, it’s YOURS, and no one can block it. And then he also has to give you time to enjoy it. You are right where you are supposed to be. You will walk into your season at the appointed time. Lord knows I also thought mine would never come, but it did.
Fumi thanks for sharing this awesome video. God bless you!!!!!!

I loved everything about this interview!!!
Hello. My name is Loretta from Ghana 🇬🇭. Being watching ur channel for awhile. Just want to say am very happy for want your doing mommy. It has helped me alot to understand myself.
I totally agree with the concept of a buffer date. My partner and I did a buffer date after connecting online. This was the best investment and we are going 3 years strong.
California is waiting!
I agreed with your guest when he said that one of the qualities in the woman that would be of interest to “him” must be one who takes care of her health and wellness.✅ However, he went on to explained that a woman who doesn’t care about her health would not be his choice for “a wife who is then going to be the one to take care of HIM and his children” In 2023, this guy is advocating and found a woman to take care of HIM, herself, children and possibly have a job outside outside of the home, to help with their financial needs. I think he should rewrite that chapter if what he said is in his book. Your mother took care of you, that “woman’s job” is done and dusted. Adults are responsible for caring for their own health and wellness. That should not be a wife’s responsibility. I know Fumi would agree with me on this. We are both Aries and we know when to not say what we are thinking but you if pay close attention it shows on our face. I didn’t watch the rest of the video, couldn’t get past that disturbing statement. I was just a curious 71 year old viewer, a woman of independent means.
This was very refreshing hearing a man talk about the value of all women. There's been too much negativity on the internet these days. Thank you both for this!
I definitely like the idea of a buffer date! But, more importantly, I will definitely sway the man to go out or do something in the daytime in the very first meet n greet! No need to go all out in the initial stage of getting to know someone. Very smart.... Thank you for bringing Cheyenne on your channel. ♥️
