I love the fit of the 39Thirty. I just ordered my first 9Twenty and hope to make it my game day ball cap. Looks to be a little lighter, breathable and packable. I wanted a hat I wouldn’t mind getting dirtied up a bit. The 39Thirty is perfect for errands around town or meeting friends at a bar to watch a game.

I got one of the 39thirty for Christmas from my in laws in Cali to rep the Angels! I couldn't believe how comfortable this hat was. Probably the first hat I've ever owned where I would actually forget that I was wearing it it was so soft and breathable, but yet not so flimsy as to look sloppy

The 39Thirty Cap is my favourite one. It works pretty good for my head.

The 9TWENTY is totally my cap of choice. Just a great design.

Just received my first 9TWENTY soft and comfortable. Love it, my only slight complaint is I wish the brim was just a little thicker.

Lately the 39thirtys and snapbacks have been my everyday walking/working cap. I tend to wear my fitted caps for occasions or sporting events

I don't really wear any kind of baseball caps and I usually go for fedoras. I had a 39thirty NFL raiders salute to field recently given to me as a gift and it was particularly hot during these times of the year where I live. I couldn't believe how functional and comfortable they were. I'd say this is the hat that has gotten me into the baseball cap/fitted hat culture. 39thirties ftw!

I think 39thirty is the best choice for small sized head, I like the stretchable fit feature.

The 39Thirty are awesome when you first use them...But then as time goes by, the inside sweatband spandex starts to curl up pretty bad! It leave ripples in my forehead when I am wearing it now.

I prefer the 9forty over the 39thirty any day. The 39thirty is the alien face hugger of the New Era world. Turns your head into an oven in the Summer. Inconsistent sizes too. Not all mediums wear the same…some too tight; others too loose.

Since the 39thirty is stretchy, can you go a size down for instance small/medium instead of a medium/large, especially if your measurements are right at the cusp of the size, For instance I got 7 3/8ths which is on both s/m and m/l, which one should I get?

Have a look at 9FORTY A Frame or K Frame. They might have fitted, I know they have 9FORTY SnapBacks with that shape.

I went to the 5950 low profile. I still like the regular 5950 on paper but it will hardly ever look good on my head. Occasionally I can find one that has a little lower crown on it that fits me better. But as far as a 3930, yeah they are really comfortable and pretty much guaranteed to always look good. If you haven't yet, Try out a 5950 low profile with the diamond tech or hex tech design(fabric) they might only make them in the mlb hats I can't remember but they are a lot more comfortable than a reg 5950 Or 5950 low profile. More like a 3930.

ryan gregg I tried 2 NFL low Profiles before but still didnt like something about them. The only bad thing is that there are more color and design options for the 5950s that you cant find for 3930 :(

Yeah I mostly agree. Sometimes the low pros fit kinda weird like You say, but occasionally you will get one that is a perfect crown shape and how I would want them all to be. If you like baseball try the "on field" authentic low profile, I've had more success with the way they fit.. the one nfl low profile I got, the bill/brim on mine was really thick. I feel like it should be so simple though. Just make the regular 5950 a bit lower. Like a Mid crown. I feel they could do a much better job at replicating the 5950 with the low pro version much better.. The retro crown versions with the unstructured fit, with the soft buckram in the front of the cap, I love those. They fit nice and lower since the top front of the crown isn't structured. Plus they are comfortable. Don't think they are making them right now though for some reason. You can still find some new ones out there from a year or so ago though.

If you're going to buy unstructured, stick to 47 brand. They're super comfortable. Feels like you're not wearing anything

I used to wear my raiders snapbacks backwards when riding my dirt bike so it didn't blow off my head. That really the only reason I used to do it, besides if I wanted to for no reason, just to style it differently.
