I'm from Colombia (Bogotá), and some people, (not all), can kill you just for your old school cap, because this clothing is considered very underground and of great value to certain urban tribes, although obviously there is its loyal audience who Collect and share your caps out of hobby or love of this art of the collection...

Hola amiga soy de Cali y siempre me han gustado las gorras americanas y más las New era desde 1999 cuando empece a ver MTV conocí el Nu metal y de ahí el Rap y la cultura hip hop. Ahora que puedo darme el gusto de comprar las gorras , (New era , mitchell .. etc) estoy muy interesado en coleccionar muchas y si Es muy cierto lo de las tribus urbanas que tiene mucho estilo ... ahora compre una gorra vintaje New era The 5950 aun venia. Con la etiqueta Made In Usa, de Los Bravos de Atlanta en una tienda de segunda mano y aquí estoy para aprender a restaurarla es hermosa ... saludos

Might have been a hat form. I bought a wooden one on eBay. I think they were typically used to make cowboy hats. And you have to wrap them in something like you see in his video here. Otherwise the wood bleeds into the fabric when you apply the steam. I have mine wrapped in tin foil, but I’m sure there are other things that work.
