How to Find the Best Nib for You
There are so many different types of calligraphy nibs to choose from and if you are new to calligraphy, it can be hard to know where to start. Even if you have been practicing calligraphy for a while, you may not realize there could be another nib that might work better for your style. In this video, I demonstrate seven different nibs, discuss the pros and cons of each, and share which one is my go to nib!

My first nib was a Hunt 101 imperial, I handled it pretty well because I use light touch on my Fp because I know I will need to use a dip pen for calligraphy

This is the lesson which solved my 9-month old problem of not getting written everything that I need to write. My discovery was that I have a 'Blue Pumpkin' and Hants 512 hand; and not a Zebra G!

This is so helpful👍 Now I know why I don't tend to use blue pumkin. I thought I was just weird.. cause it seems like everyone like them but I don't..🙊🙊
What is that folding device you're looking though for the envelopes in the intro? Love guide, I'm new to calligraphy, and this is really helpful

It would be helpful though to have text on screen telling you which pen you're talking about, its easy to get confused. :]

It is called a phantom liner! It is my preferred tool for writing in a straight line and you can find it at our shop here: lhcalligraphy.com/products/phantom-liner-small (it is currently on backorder, but any order including the phantom liner will ship by early April!)
