You are free to utilize that guide, as it starts at Delta Island, a beacon location everyone receives in game and must have activated prior. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6Rrk9Wthr3Iqrg.html Regarding this guide, I state directions to face as per the compass and the distance to travel from your life pod, which is the beacon you would use. Those are the guiding factors, and it is explained in the guide. My beacons are from the fact I used this world to create all my guides and so I have my own markers placed from prior routing. I am sorry if you got confused. I wish you better luck on following the next guide.

Why is everybody showing the way to the Greenhouse starting from the life-pod!?! She tells you to come see her after you're done at Delta Station Dock. Wth? I'm lost!

Hey, thats a perfect point. Im actually working on redoing my Drop Pod location videos, the earlier half of my playlist were from there before I realized you could get three different spots for the Drop Pod. Until then I have the alternate directions in the description. From the Delta Station Dock, head 2 notches right of E, 1125m away from Delta Station Dock beacon. She is up on what I think is the last big iceberg that way. I hope that can help :D

Yes I do have a video on it! I cant link it atm but it is in my playlist. Omega is inside the 'anomalous piece of rock has broken away from the surrounding terrain' at the Lilypads Biome. You can enter it from above, it's like the middle of the rock is carved out and the base is in there.

I'm glad you found her! Yes, when I began I started at the Drop Pod and then found out it had three different spots so I switched to the Docks. But there are so many videos to redo that I included the directions for now. I am glad it worked somewhat. :D

@@HylianMom Funny, it was night when I went there, and I didn’t see the Chelicerate until I was floating back up. I genuinely thought it was a skinny glow whale lmao Then I nearly starved to death and my truck nearly got destroyed by the Chelicerate by the purple vents, I’m gonna try and find the greenhouse tomorrow though!

I do have a link in the description for a redo of this guide, one that starts at Delta Dock. That one should be a bit more accurate, too. I made a few guides from Drop Pods before I learned they landed in three different potential spots. It was a good learning experience.

LOL. when you hit a fish with the C-truck, it reminds me of hitting bugs when you're driving your car.

The drop pods spawn in different locations. Do you have directions from a fixed starting point, like Delta Base?

Yes. These videos from before I switched to Delta to start have thw written directions from Delta in the descriptions of the videos. I hope that can help.

How are you expected to find this without resorting to youtube videos? Are there any directions given in game other than "On an iceberg"? Its pretty immersion breaking to have to tab out of the game to look stuff like this up but ive found im doing it a lot with this game

I think for this location MArg says she is a KM east of the island up on an iceberg. But I have gone out a km straight east and it still isnt spot on, I had to hunt a while before I figured it out and Id been there before, too. They do make this game focus a lot on hints, and you have to use the PDA files to figure things out a lot for sure. I had the same issue w Subnautica so I figured guides would be needed for this one, too.

And here I was, trying to go a kilometer East of the satellite tower, like I was told from that transmission.

Yes, entering the deadzone is usually an immediate reverse for me xD Unless in creative, because the beast out there is visually awesome in its creepy way.

How did you get the 2021 update for the game? I have the December version and I got it from Epic Games.

There is the option in Properties of the game to have it Stable or Experimental. Experimental can be more unstable w bugs and glitches, but it has regular mini updates as soon as they are in game. Stable tends to only do the monthly large updates. You should be able to switch, though not much is changed w the updates now, it is mostly small fixes.

There is an updated video that begins from Delta Station Dock. I can even just tell you. If you start at the dock, it is 1.5 notches Right of East, go out 1120 m roughly from the Dock Beacon the game gives you. I learned after making some guides that the Drop Pod moves by three locations. So this should help be more accurate if you havent gotten it yet.

“Hey guys so to find the greenhouse you just wanna go this way exactly (follows personal beacon and would get lost without it)”

I specify compass directions and distance to go from your Drop pod beacon. I apologize if you got confused by my personal prepwork for the guide. We also have a second updated guide linked in the description which begins at Delta Island, for those who have a different Drop Pod spawn point. If this guide did not work, that one will be more accurate. So visiting Marg in the greenhouse gives you some dialogue and a PDA leading to an underwater alterra research base in the lilypads Biome (not margs) that got sabotaged. If you havent been there, it is a good next step. Otherwise, have you followed the storyline from Sanctuary Zero? Youve done Margs three meetings now. And her base is also now open to explore all the rooms and scan some base building stuff now that you have been to the greenhouse.

It worked perfectly! And then afterwards I got revenge for that whole 30 durability lost by killing it with my prawn for no real reason (I’ve gotten braver)

I think I may have to restart the game 😕 I messed with the tower, got the message to go to the greenhouse, went to the greenhouse, but there's no option to unlock it. Any tips?

If you got Margs message invite to the greenhouse up on the iceberg and you still cant enter it, there may be a glitch. But one other option is to look into using a code in this game to get inside. Maybe once you are in you can trigger the right events.

Drop pods spawn in different places. do it from the arch

Not necessary to beat the game, no. Necessary for one of the storylines regarding Sam, yes, but also honestly skippable. It is more a PDA and dialogue location of Sam's journey. If you want to hear all the dialogue recordings between Alterran staff then I would go.

Me doing littery every mission in my prawn suit because it's the only thing I feel safe in😬

I made it back to my base perfectly alive I just happen to run into a Leviathan while I was there good thing it didn’t attack my Sea truck

I didn't find it :c after the purple vents I found the lillypads then went into the dead zone :(

Maybe your drop pod went into a different location, possibly, which can throw it off a lot with such a distance to cover, I have another way from the Delta Dock. Alternate directions from Delta Station Dock, head 2 notches right of E, 1125m away from Delta Station Dock beacon. (or, if you're already out there in the far East icebergs, you want to face the Beacon so it lines up with 2 notches Right of W and get yourself the 1125m away, if you want to try not going all the way back to Delta.

@@HylianMom i started at delta Island and went that way instead of going e at the delta base, I found it now but it dosent matter anymore bc on ps4 subnautica 1 and below zero crash and I haven't saved since 1:00 pm and I lost most of my progress T^T this is what I get for not being able to afford a windows computer

Nooo ! Rip. Was it a Glow Whale? They are white and blue, but they're not supposed to be aggressive! But theres a Chelicerate leviathan near there. hes red/pink though. I hope you were able to eventually make it

That would depend on what aspects of the story aside from Margs arch that you have done. I know that now if you return to her base, you can explore the whole thing and scan some new stuff. Also, grab a Preston's plant to put in a growbed at home base ;) It makes a great food source when mixed w Fevered Peppers, if you need it. Did you get the distress call earlier in game?

@@funnyyylock You need to get the alien :D He has a storyline with quite a few tasks to do. Follow this video to its destination and you should be able to see flashing green pillars from that tech site. Yes, this was one of my first guides ever made back in Early Access time and my playlist switched over to the Dock after I learned the lifepods shifted within three locations. Theres a vague picture map in the Delta Island Base, but its honestly not clear enough to use for navigation. It really just shows the number of Alterra bases out there to find. Even some of the few beacons are challenging to locate in this game.

You got thrown 1000m? Thats wild! :D Youve been to her base, right? She gives an objective to do for the tower, you scan a module on her table for it and have to go to some wrecks and scan parallel processing units. The Greenhouse unlocks after you complete that tower objective for her.
