    Should we run all phrases or keywords found in "movers and shakers", "keyword cloud", etc. through the keyword competition checker? Even though a mover and shaker is selling well, there might be too much competition for that word or phrase, for example. Or do some cross niching with the word or phrase? Excellent channel Hannah!

    Hello Hannah, thank you for this super informative tutorial. I have a question about the competition checker. Does it really regard, if there is search volume at all? I tested it by putting in "asdf" and it gives an A for that. I highly doubt that that is a niche worthwhile, it just doesnt have any competition. How much search volume should a niche have f.i. in google? My favourite niche has got an A but the keyword research only shows an 1293 AMZ Search volume in the US Amazon and a google Search volume of 90500 (that also has to do with people looking for information, not just products). Is that enough?

    I love your videos Hannah. They have been so helpful. One thing I'm not understanding though ..... I thought I had learned the difference between a niche store and a general store. But is there a difference between a niche and a trend? Are you opening a new store for every new "niche" you find to design (such as golden retrievers being your valentine)? It seems like a general store would have a lot of trends that they put out as they see what's selling at any given time using the tools you mention here. But when you say "niche" it makes me think "opposite" of general

    Hi Hannah, I love your videos! Thank you for all of the info! I have a couple of (maybe dumb) questions 😁 Can I use a few of these design ideas that are trending - shown on Movers and Shakers or do I need to stick to one specific niche? There are so many fun ideas, it's hard to pick just one. Also, could you explain how to read the purple sales rank and green price graphs for me? I'm still a little confused on those. Thanks so much!

  • @hannahebeling

    @hannahebeling

    You can totally make and post items in tons of niches! That's what I do! The purple sales rank graph can be confusing. When it goes down, that means it's ranking better (lower number) in bestsellers.

    Do you follow the purple data and ignore those that are lower ranks? Thank you for the information. I am starting a new Etsy shop (I've had it since 2023) because it seems like my other shop is at a stand still with only 5 sales since Jan 2024 and I've done everything I could think of to make it work :( I'm still going to list in it, but I need to make $$ somehow.
