It's not a bug. HK-50 droids were largely cloned from the HK-47 droid that you have in your party. Because of HK-47's programming, shooting the HK-50's would be like shooting himself.

It is. Simply complete the normal mission structure for telos and it will pop up. For all those who need help installing, you have to download it and put it in your Override Folder, in your game files. Google how to install mods kotor 2, and there should be a tutorial on filefront or holowan labs.

@werleniaz I believe HK-47 goes there when the exile and the crew board the ravanger :) so you have to wait a bit

1.it is in the mod yes 2. No there are a couple of them on almost every planet, just remember to do this scene early so you havent killed all the droids and then you cannot complete the quest 3. Almost all of it is spoken loud, i think i encountered maybe 2-3 scenes where it was not. Hope this helped :)

Why does HK keep disappearing form the party, then reappearing when the HK-50s appear?

Observation: I seem to be able to download the file, but I cannot install the corresponding mod. Query: Can anyone help me on how to install the mod using step-by-step instructions? Clarification: I have never worked with mods and I do not know how they work. Extrapolation: I need someone who has the patience to walk me through the process.

@malscyllis Thanks mate, i couldn't find it either until i randomly talked to HK-47 while trying to get some influence with him, then i found this conversation and was like: OMG! jizz!! finally i found the droid factory!! :D

These things; the HK facility and the costumes and stuff...is this only for the PC version? Or can you do it with the Xbox version too?

Weird I wasnt able to get there, I encountered the HK 50s before I had parts to activate my HK 47 back on the ship and then I stopped meeting them. Had this exact same information and I completed Telos without HK, could only that be the reason? Looks I missed many things in this game although I tried my best

You need to talk about HK about those clones, then you find out you have been possessing tracking device. HK needs to fight like 3 times against his clones, then he can track down hk-factory. This should happen. Then again, I hope you had right mod, lol.

ok i download a lot of crap for games this is the one that worked right when i hit the icon to start i noticed OMFG THE MENU IS DIFFERENT MOD WORKED!

i cant believe how much of the factory was complete then they just cut it off

i have a bug where every time i have hk-47 with me and we see a team of hk-50's he will freeeze there but he will also be in my party so now there is two hk-47's but one is stuck there.

They cannot fire at HK-47, due to the fact that they are both HK units, a HK unit cannot shoot another unit, nor shoot themselves. This explains why HK-47 leaves the party during the battle against the HK-50's.

Well the quest never shows up on my game whenever I ask him, and then I use KSE to give myself the quest and it doesn't show up, and when I look through the quests in KSE it's not there, but when I remove the HK Factory one this really random ass thing that says all of the feats and shit dissappears

(Repair ) HK 47 let me try to restore this HK: 50s memory. (repair fail ) HK 50: remove the arc wrench remove the arc wrench MEDIC! HK 47 sepcation maybe we should try something else master. (repair ) no i would like to try again to restore his memory. HK 47: sigh very well master first you are going to remove. HK 50 WHAT ARE DOING THAT DOES NOT GO THERE> NO DO NOT SMASH THAT ( input term here ) Screams in pain. repeat 50 more times. fail 50 times more. player: very well HK 47 you know your systems better then anyone ill let you handle this HK 50. HK50: sighs in relive. HK 47: quarry why does that bring me feelings of reliving and joy to hear that master?

they're talking about HK not the main character because hk units (even hk-47) cannot kill one another, in fact every time you encounter am hk assassins hk-47 will be removed from your team and will watch the battle pacefully until alla the HK are killed. (watch 3:34 )

**Systems Failing, Master**

It says the factory is on Telos, but if I travel to Telos, I can only get to Citadel Station. How do I get to the factory? I can't get to the old military base planetside (those quests are already done). As for a question below why HK disappears when battling HK 50's, there's a line of dialogue where he says he cannot fire upon himself (or likeness of himself) or something to that effect.

His programming prevented him from attacking the HK-50 models due to them being built from the same schematics
