Hello everyone. I just signed on today. Glad to be here. I currently have no leads!

I am just starting this new road to becoming a travel agent. Very excited but also so nervous because I don't really know what to expect. I love traveling although I have not done much myself, thankfully I have found some awesome videos that has a lot of useful information. Thank you!

Excited to watch this video! I get about 3 or 4 unique leads per week. I just started at the beginning of this month, but I posted on a few Facebook groups & have been getting leads from those :)

Here's something from the customer side... I was searching some of my favorite KZread travel agents, and I'm finding that a lot of them don't have websites, or they haven't optimized their site for search engines to make them show on the the first page of the search. I'm finding a lot of Facebook and Instagram pages and twitter accounts, but the only social media I use is KZread.

I've not got the 1st nibble! I've only been in it since the past Dec...I Brought the New Years In On It! I wanted a New Start!!!

New! I love cruising and have cruised approximately 20+ times. I have been approached to become a travel agent on a part time basis. I’m 56 and looking for new job opportunities for when I retire. I accepted the job. I’m am still doing the certification programs for Royal and Norwegian and need to jump on Disney in January. But while this is going on I also want to work on how to get clients. What worries me is I have put together all my cruise vacations and I’m nervous doing this for other people. Any comments are welcome. Keep in mind I also have a full time job which is wearing me down but like anything else I need to stay full time for benefits.

Hi Karen, It is definitely scary at first but once you get the first few clients under your belt, you will feel much better! It sounds like you have some great experience & the certification programs should help as well. You will have time during your research phase to really dig deep into the websites & find the best bookings for your clients. This is a great side gig! Deep breath- you got this!

Thanks, I'm currently working on 6 potential clients who are also friend referral for Botswana Safari and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. I sent a quote I'm waiting for them to decide weather to take it or not, I hope they so. I have just started posting my first social media ad, I just wanted to know how long should I keep the the ad running, would it be wise to keep it there till it's deadline, because I hear a lot of consistency is the key?

Thats great! I hope you can close those clients as well. As for ads, it really depends on which platform you are doing ads on. For our companies, we have been testing many different ads & there isn't "just one way" that works. You will have to test different kinds of ads to see which kinds reach your target audience. I hope that helps!

I'm new. My number for leads is 0. I love your videos but I was wondering if you can go into more detail of showing us how to get leads. You are always talking about both of your company's and I do understand you trying to make money but for the ones that can't afford your class would it be possible to show everyone how you do facebook leads, and other leads as a freebie?

Hi Sheika, That is definitely a loaded question but I would say when marketing on social media (depending on the platform), make sure you are using hashtags related to what audience you are trying to reach. Use all the platforms possible because you can get leads from anywhere. KZread is great for long-form content like room tours or my day at Disney. Tik Tok is great for short clips. Instagram you can do almost anything on and same with Facebook. Ads are big when trying to hit target audiences. I find KZread & Facebook are the best for ads. I hope that helps!

Hi There! That is great, I am so happy for you! Making 1-2K a month is very doable if you are willing to put the work in. Think of it like this: if you book 2 trips a month at 5K each, you would make a commission of 1K. If you book 2 trips a month at 10K each, you would make a commission of 2K. Most commission runs at 10% of total sales so I would say it is absolutely doable!

Because when i call to customers they said we are not interested and we don't want to go anywhere an all that. So please give me some tips

What would you say would be the targeting ages for a travel advisor that doesn’t have a specialty per se? For example, I don’t specialize in something specific … I’m familiar with a lot of travel so I help my clients in all things travel like all inclusive vacations, cruise packages, flights, hotels, etc.
