Ойын-сауық

#amberhunting #fossilhunting #balticamber
Lockdown got lifted! And the first weekend after we went to the baltic sea with hopes to hunt for some baltic amber and fossils. In the end did succed to find some, as well as some fossils. Super satisfying weekend, felt alive again after being locked in my city ^^

Very neat, i never thought about amber floating but it makes sense really. The interesting thing is the shores there look exactly like the shores here in our great lakes, (michigan) and you even seem to have a lot of the same kinds of fossils as well, this was fun to watch and i had to subscribe!

Why do you always say you didn’t find that much and they aren’t that big? Believe me….it’s more than I’ll find in Nebraska! I’m glad that girl was with you as she was going more carefully through the debris and finding lovely smaller pieces. Most jewelry in the US, is made with those smaller pieces: earrings, small necklaces, etc. Don’t pass up any but the tiniest amber, really! There’s a use for all of it. Seems like you often do better at night with UV light. In daytime, you only look for yellow, butterscotch, & cognac. You missed a piece of red amber in this video!!!! Love watching your adventures. Wishing you great success
