Nice video. I've been playing long enough to have aquired a submarine, so I'm decent now. Caught the marlin by chance on expert level middle depth with Crawfish A, saltwater rod A and saltwater reel A. I think using the best ( A) tackle and bait has improved my efficiency greatly!! I love these videos.

I am brand new to the game bought it two days ago. Your video is the reason that I am hoping I can catch my first big fish in levels 16 through 20 because I keep losing the really big ones and it’s all about Rod movement went to reel, and when not to reel. I hate to say it, but it’s a sad state of affairs when I’m on the Facebook page asking for help and nobody could tell me in words what you just showed me on a video!!! Looks like you’re gonna be my go to guy 😊

On expert you can float fish with the large bobber and crayfish, for lure I catch quite a few on the metal jig. I tend to see them often on location 18.

Does anyone know if you need to be a certain level to catch the huge fish??

I agree, this is just for hunting the striped Marlin and to teach people how to bring in those huge fish. Once they get better expert is much easier and yields more rewards.

What do the line and the baits button do in the difficulty thing

Line turns on and off the line colors and bait will allow you to see your lure or bait under the water. This is helpful when you are trying to keep your bait in the middle depth.

I'm wondering why I don't see "huge " fish on my fish finder? Do I have to be at a certain exp level?

I believe it's lvl 16 before you start to get huge fish.

Nope, just stop reeling and flick your wrist to get the snap.

Do u have to be a sertion level because I'm level 7 and the huge fish don't show up even after refreshing like 20 times?

They haven't changed the color codes of the Marlin since the making of this video. The only time the colors changed was when they introduced live bait and more lures in the year 2 edition.

If you are just using this as a huge fish guide you can just target any huge fish to practice. Same technique for all of them, I just used Marlin because it's a cool fish.

Also I'm slightly colorblind so it's hard to distinguish baits and depth using the finder on hard and even normal, any advise? I've been playing on expert and enjoying every bit of this game (:

I personally don't like the overlay of normal and if you learn how to read the fish finder you can usually get pretty close. The one fish I do recommend normal on is the Devils Hole Pupfish just so you can target it easier since it is red on every bait and lure. I don't judge anybody that plays on normal, they should play what makes them feel comfortable, the techniques can easily be used in normal also.
