    Tell me about the gloves. I definitely need a pair. There are days my fingers, especially the thumb, are chewed up from lipping crappie. It's also getting colder and I've never been able to find a pair that I could comfortably wear while fishing. Great video once again!

    How's it Going!!! great to hear from ya!! The gloves are FLexi-grip High Vis work gloves - The light weight version are thinner and work great! But Caution.... they don't keep your hands warm in the cold(at least not my hands). But I'd say they're worth a shot - I love the color and they do handle well. Thanks for watching as always Sir! More to come!!!

    I want to fish for crappie at Caesar creek but haven’t had any luck. Can you show how you find the brush piles. How you would go about it. Thank you.

  • @crushincrappie6525

    There few things you can do - you can check points and the edges of Creek channels - Over the years anglers have dropped large amounts brush in theses areas - even in front of Dock slips. Use your sonar/down or side scan imagining to comb through the points and channels - scan carefully and you should be able to find some. The lake is currently being dropped in prep for fall and winter pool. Take advantage of the water at low stages. Cruise around the lake and you'll see lots of brush that wouldn't otherwise be visible at higher water levels. Waypoint them or capture with your phone and then return and fish them! Hope this helps!! Thanks for watching! more to come!

    Good, informative video. Are you using jig heads with a weed guard or do you get hung up on the brush?

  • @crushincrappie6525

    @crushincrappie6525

    10 ай бұрын

    I'm not using guard - not a bad idea though!!! I fish the Jigs right above the Brush line and am usually ok but every now and then - I loose a jig if I mis judge the distance - part of the game, right? but I don't get hung alot! Thanks so much for watching!!! more vids coming soon! Tight Lines!

    I have a deep V 14ft Polar Kraft and for my electronics I have a Garmin 93sv UHD for the back of the boat and Garmin Striker 4 Plus on the Front Trolling motor - I use the back unit to give the detail of the cover I'm fishing or a snap shot of the contour and the front unit to give me a rough outline of the cover so as to stay just above it with my Jigs or minnows. What jig colors are best in the fall?

  • @crushincrappie6525

    @crushincrappie6525

    10 ай бұрын

    What has worked best for me in the past is natural/light colors during the day and minimal cloud cover(monkey milk, pearl & off white) and in lower light conditions, Darker colors have worked better for me(black/Chartreuse combo, Pink and purple). Don't be afraid to change and experiment - ultimately this fish are going to tell you what the prefer - so make sure to practice variations so as to put patterns together for yourself!
