Berlin is no secret escape anymore. 15 years ago, even though you couldn't find jobs in Berlin, you were able to get very cheap apartments.
There are only few apartments and even less for a cheap price. Unfortunately, the same problem exists in cities like Munich, Hamburg, or Frankfurt.
Still, it is possible to find something good even if you don’t talk perfect “Hochdeutsch”.
We talked with Katherine - who moved from California to Berlin and found a flat in a few weeks. She shares her experience in this video.

Applied to 540 apartments before I got a substandard apartment. Most of them don't even bother to reply.
I'm looking apartments in Aachen for rent. We are 7 peaple . I'm looking almost 5 months and still I didn't get any house or apartments.
Is there a price range where apartments are more difficult to find in these cities?
Is buying plus membership optional or a must? Can I still contact with the owners with a free account?

Hey, in our Apps you can switch the language from German to English. It's in "Einstellungen / Sprache" (Settings / Language). Good luck finding a new home ...
