Hi Alex, your advice is greatly helpful. Thank you so much. On top of that, do you have any specific pitches/ short explanations in regards to CPT (in my current case of internship seeking) to let the recruiter not that "freak out" and hence we would get a better chance to get the internship offer? Should we mention that we're international students during the interview question or just wait until your recruiter asks and we provide the CPT explanation?

Alexandra, thank you so much for making this video. I am an international student about to graduate from my Master's program in the middle of nowhere, Idaho, and there are really few people who are like me (or who experienced a similar process) who I can ask for advice. So thank you for sharing your advice, it is really helpful

Thanks for the tips, it's pretty hard for international students in the US. I didn't know about this until Junior year. I feel like I have to be top of my class and have lots of experience to be able to land a job. I am scared I'll get kicked out once I graduate because ill be unable to find a job. I need to work much harder my senior year.

People tend to have different opinions on this, and i am inclined to say do NOT do this. it might work if you’re lucky, or you can get in trouble for omitting crucial immigration-related information that the employer 100% wants to know. I’d suggest focusing on OPT-friendly employers and building your skills instead. so that if you get a chance to give your resume to someone in your network they’re less likely to care about the visa stuff because they’re gonna be impressed by who you are as a professional
