I am Peter Boerlage the person who did the filletting with Danny doing the video. Couple of questions that were asked. The knife is a BUCK 225 made in China. The board - clamp I got at Kmart. This makes the job of filletting so much easier. Thanks for the tips about bleeding the trout I will try that in the future. Is there any other videos people would like me to do?? Great that people have found this beneficial. I am just another fisherman who enjoys filletting trout. If you want to contact me to ask a question or give me advice please do this best through messenger. Cheers Peter Boerlage Cīhristchurch New Zealand.

This is beautiful but on something like a trout or a salmon I'd never cut out the pin bones. After you've done a fish or two it takes maybe 20 seconds with pliers to grab them and you're left with an intact full fillet. Beautiful product though here.

The problem lies with the amount of fish that you can take from the that lake each day. To be honest, there is ample supply, so why eat it all when you can just eat the good stuff? 🐟🌊 I.E Do you eat the apple core as well? 🍎 Not criticizing, but I think I understand your point. If you lived in a third world country, you would eat every scrap. However, we don't live in a third world country, so we don't actually employ that thinking. Thank you for your comment. 🙏🌍

Oh jesus. Did you even bother to watch his release a trout video? No. Just bitch about who eats what. Btw, I haven’t bothered to see if he has a release a trout video. Sir, please make a release a trout video where you pull the bones out of a fish and release it.
