Can you do this on a dining table?
Thank you for the video! I have a question if you don't mind lending your expertise! I have a beautiful hutch that I dinged right on the front edge when moving. Would this product work for an edge repair? The mark is probably between 1/4" and 1/8 wide and maybe 1/8" deep. Not big but noticeable being on the front edge. Thanks!
Her beauty distracts me. Now, I have to watch it again. 😍

does it actually fill the gouge in, or just re-finish the gouged wood under the exterior stain/paint?

Yes it fills the gouge. The pens are to match the table finish
Why use the marker first if you're going to fill the void with a hard fill stick?

You don’t need to pre-color as long as the density of hard fill is sufficient to cover the raw wood in the damage. If the hole you’re filling is shallow or feathers out from thick to very thin its possible it won’t provide enough opacity to hide the lighter wood at the perimeter. By pre-coloring the damage area it prevents this concern. You can always cut the damage area deeper to provide sufficient depth to both hold the filler and to eliminate these transitions.

Better lighting and a close up shot would have been more convincing. Thanks just the same.

It's good to see woodglut have new instructions to save my money and energy to build it.
Mine works too. I used the Woodprix plans and performed it without any problems.
Hmmm... I finally followed Ann's advice and took Woodprix. It's great for beginners and has some advanced stuff too.
My company would fire you for repairing like this.
