Love your new papers as always. You always make me relax about getting my journaling done. Right now we're traveling so I have to use what I brought along plus whatever I can find from our travels. Lots of tickets, postcards, and restaurants napkins!

I love how you journal💕. Would you consider doing a quick flip through of a new journal without any added ephemera and then another flip through of the same journal after you’ve covered the pages and added ephemera? Just to see the transformation

Thank you for the lovely inspiration! I have a question, though - I always feel the lovely paper is an obsacle for me, because I don’t feel like covering them. It seems in the video that you cover the page from the childrens book completely. How do I get around journaling in the beautiful books where the pages are already decorated from the begining? This is an ongoing obstacle for me.

The children’s book page isn’t covered, I added a side pocket and a journal card that can be pulled out to see the paper underneath 😊 I say if you really love something don’t cover it .. i enjoy adding to the things I love and leaving enough to see and enjoy! There’s lots of clever ways to layer without covering, but if something is amazing to me I let it be left alone 🫶🏽 if anything is toooo precious it probably shouldn’t be added to a journal 🥰

I use pentel energel pens! They’re so smoooth!

Do you ever worry that your adhesives ephemera won't last long term? I'm an archivist and love junk journaling, but I've had to preserve too many vintage scrapbooks with poor adhesive and rusty paperclips. It's something I struggle with thinking about when I craft. Just wondering what your thoughts are when you journal and if you have any advice on overcoming my current mindset :)

I usually use atleast 2 methods eg glue and a staple or double sided tape and staples.. i realise it’s not going to last forever too, it will age over time and i’m okay with that 🤗
