The smaller person had to commit to land a strike. The bigger opponent just needs to wait for the opportunity to engage once they do

My father was extremely fast. He was a fly weight boxer in the army in WWII. He was the boxing champion, all weight classes, by knockout, of the U. S. 4th army. Based on that, I would go for the faster boxer.

Simple and straightforward and I like that. If someone is real fast then when the heat turns up don't let emotions dictate strategy.

It's a shame you didn't also reverse the roles and teach how the smaller, lighter guy can deal with someone faster - maybe next time?

I think the light weight would lose because if one punch lands they would be out, but the light weight could win still

If the heavyweight boxer connected properly, fully, and squarely on the jaw of the lightweight boxer, it would be game over for him, and probably a broken jaw to go with a bout of unconsciousness, but if the smaller guy can get inside/outside the range of the heavyweight boxer, he would have a good chance of destroying him with lightning fast speed, accuracy and timing, it would all depend on if it was just boxing rules, or pure street-fighting, where there's no rules...

That always depend on how much power both individuals have more than the other because if both have to be able to take on anybody regardless of weight but obviously one of them is a lightweight that makes them faster than the lightweight would be 9 times out of 10 more dangerous and will come out on top cuz he would be the first to strike the last strike and also in between but if the heavyweight has both power and speed even though his endurance may not be the same as a lightweight but if you can take them out quickly then you got the heavyweight as the champ

I think the outcome will depend more on which boxer has the most experience than size. If you have size but not skill then you might not have the best overcome in the fight.

That question makes me think of Rocky 3 when he fought Mr. T. (I think that’s part 3). Rocky had to lose a lot of weight to make himself faster. Speed is power. Eventually, your opponent will lose stamina.

look at Mike Tyson he was heavy but he was also fast, you don't have to be smaller to be faster, he has speed and weight behind his punches and now that's scary for anyone

The slower boxer should feint to draw the faster boxer's guard out of position, then jump into the opening. Of course, it wouldn't take long for the faster boxer to adjust to that tactic, so feinting should be used sparingly.

Structure your fighting to adapt to your opponent, Right. So: Striking defeats joint manipulation and wrestling defeats striking, joint manipulation defeats wrestling. Long time ago i heard this, and well think about a bit. Obviously it's not all inclusive but just sort of an idea- There's both defensive and offensive applications. I'm primarily a striker, I will always hit but where will it lead?

Dodge counter look for the way to win always after read the enemy nine times out of 10 they're going to be in a standing position with that sight exposed the two things to always take advantage of blind side sweep if it's a competition if it's a street fight obviously anything goes

If the smaller boxer and the larger boxer train the same amount and are both average in terms of physicality. The larger boxer will have an advantage purely due to size. But if the smaller boxer trains much more than the larger boxer, and is an athletic specimen while the larger boxer is just average in athleticism or even below average. Then the smaller boxer has a better chance at victory.

Home for one thing it wouldn't be boxing and they start off that way. But as a bigger guy slower guy former grappler, I'm waiting for that opportunity. As long as he doesn't hit me in that sweet spot in my temple and take me out. I'm looking for a way to take him to a ground just like you did and it's going to be ground and pound and it's going to be my weight against his. And it's not going to be pretty boxing either. It's going to be ugly street shit. I'm going to kick out a knee. I'm going to kick out an ankle. Etc

Im not sure if your content is evolving, or if you are staying with your same old pretend Martail Arts from before. I guess we'll see.
