I managed to finish this video before schedule, so here you go. Also just a clarification about fighting apexes. Is not that you CAN*T win against them in 1v1. It's just high risks and unlikely, especially if you're not used to fighting as a flyer

​@@bodhigough6196you can fly away to home caves safely in 9 out of 10 times, just wait for the combat timer. You can fly full speed to the blue stone symbol and get inside

While I do love this bird, especially how easy it is to accelerate, some difficulties of the hatz, is that it can't exit a dive easily at all and that it can be easily pounced by a raptor and is then grounded and vulnerable to any apexes nearby.

I don't think this is bad, though. The thing is powerful, and in my opinion every good creature should have a hard counter of some kind. Extreme power also calls for extreme weakness.

The Hatz is so much fun to play, that was the first flyer dinosaur I tried and honestly... being able to see your prey before they see you is priceless! Great video :)

This is just my opinion but I feel I the developers should give the hatzeg slick feathers as an option for the hide, because literally a single lateniv or Deino can kill one.

5:21 you do need to be running yes but not for that long. As soon as you press run and it’s run animates one time you can lift off.

Btw You can take down an apex if you stay behind them well. Especially with stab becaue it dealls 100 damage. That means 8 hits take out a rex. The barrage is good too, it does a ridiculous amount of damage at 10 stacks. The hatz can easily kill mid tiers and lower btw. It can take out anything below sarco I think.

I’ve noticed that you need to go into the “gallop” animation to take off. Where you start to take long strides. The maneuverability perk increases the acceleration of this, to make it take about one full second instead of like 5. That said. Turn speed on ground is probs better if you plan on fighting soley on ground or tail riding as taking off faster is very good defensively especially considering if a lat/deinon gets on you that you cannot take off. Also ledges are inconsistent to take off from. In the video you already were full gallop so it wouldn’t have mattered if the ledge was there or not. But say you’re roosting on a short tree, or trying to walk off a short cliff. Odds are you’ll mess up flying as it’ll only start right before you touch the ground. Steep cliffs work still. As do the super tall trees in places like young grove. But you will still drop a ways.

I've won too many fights against apexes as a Hatz tbh, yeah it's pretty risky but it's pretty easy, you just gotta stay behind and tank the tail attacks and use stab and ofcourse Beak Barrage, this doesn't work on everything but it's a nice tactic

It's a good dinosaur except when faced with lat's because if they pounce on you not only does it take forever to get them off but you also can't fly with them on you. :(

Bleed is definitely not as overbearing as it used to be. It's going to be interesting to see what this thing actually can do. The slow acceleration makes it a bit riskier thing to take to land fights than quetz. And having to start flying nukes stamina each time that you have to take off so that isn't ideal either.

Dunno the details. But apparently it’s going to “Help the creatures that relies on bleed”. We’ll have to wait and see if it’s better or not.

how do you get replays to work on youtube or was it in editing program ?

I saw fight videos the same day hatz came out. Not too fast.

Ngl the thal needs some major buffs. It cannot do anything to get away besides hide in water and get killed by a sarc. I had a hatz snag me outta the air which is bs

@@-Clutch- It's pretty useless. Maybe they should make it specialize in aerial hunting since Hatz is more of a land hunter. Or maybe they could make it give buffs to flyers. Like flight buffs.

@@catpoke9557 campto is useless and people still play that, flight buffs could be a thing I guess- people play Hatz as a land hunter and good players can kill apexes easily. Path of titans ain’t into that kinda realism tho unless u play community realism servers

I solo apex dont need a group ro be honest if u know what u do. Barrage and stab as attack. I dont use clamp so useless for me but thats just my opinion

@@MalcMalc19 both in my abilitys. I barrage, stab, barrage, stab... so youre barrage keeps stacking on 10 for high damage when in mean time u stab at times to deal massive damage. Try tail ride or turning beside the apex so he cant get u to often. And if i see they sleep/rest or cant turn on my hatz i only use stab to deal massive damage
