Why can't I ever find a barber who can do a great job like this? It's so frustrating how many people out there who cut hair who can't cut hair well

So first off, Matty, this video is just about the most perfect fade tutorial on the KZreads. However, I just wanted to kindly point out that in the first half, you only faded down to a .5 guard halfway closed, but on the other side you faded all the way down to .5 fully closed. Wanted to make sure everything was even on both sides! 😂 Peace and good vibes, brotha.

I don’t like or comment on many vids, but you Sir are a pro. You have actually inspired me to become a barber. I love your tutorials. They are easy to follow and they are set above the rest. Thank you. Keep up the great work. I wish I lived nearby. I would definitely visit your shop. Any advice on barber colleges? There’s a Paul Mitchell MTI college close to me. Absolutely. for slight cases I highly suggest WASH from Victory Brand... it uses gentle plant based cleansers, Super conditioning oils, and Activated charcoal as a detoxifier. Using it daily greatly reduces skin irritation and dryness.

I notice you uses the #1 guard open to fully closed on one side. On the other side you used #1 guard open to half closed. Any particular reason for that?

I must have screwed that up in editing. I used the same process for both sides. However a #1 guard closed in theory should be the same as a .5 guard open but it almost never is... that’s why it pays to go over it again.

My clippers are set just slightly back from 0... my trimmers are 0 gapped Thanks for asking!
