As a "technophobe" all I can say is Thankyou,!!! just gone over to county broardband & wanted to get wi-fi down the garden man-cave...I was ready to throw the towel in...... until this vid popped up with a search.....got the Ac1900 mesh extender...... WP button & cazam!!!!! b###dy fantastic, thankyou👍
I was getting excited and ready to go and fiddle with my router then I realised I don't have that thingy 😊 off to take a look online. Fab video!
Something I don't understand with these i have one and I don't know whether I need to be wifi connecting to its access point or stay connected to my main router to have a best signal, is this pushing a strong signal or just waiting for me to connect to its access point ,cheers
Very useful because this video made me buy the TP Link device. Just for information, mine wouldn’t connect via the wps button. I have a Virgin router with dual band so maybe that affects it, I don’t know though. It connected fine via the Tether app (it found both Virgin bands) and the instructions were very easy to follow.
What i love the most about this video? The way you pronounce "router"!

Hi Kip, just watched the TP-Link AC1750. Just to check a point. After making the initial connection to the router am I to understand you then re-connected into a plug socket near to where you were not getting a good connection. Regards Dese.

I'm helping channel engagement!
I wonder if you can help… my router gives off my 2G and 5G and I can connect accordingly. I set up as per your video and only the 2G light comes on and not the 5G. I see TP recommend doing the WPS again to find it and add to the already found 2G. It doesn’t no matter how many times and I’ve reset a bunch too. When I go to networks it has my 2G and 5G with EXT at the end along with my two normal wife signals. Yet no 5G blue light. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong? Cheers mate.

Honestly, I’m not sure! Maybe change the channel of the 5ghz network and see if that helps.
These are so good! We use one too. Great review and video.
Do you know if this model can be used as a hard wire extender too, please? Thanks for sharing🙏

It’s got a network port so in theory, yes , but it would never be as fast as a full on hard wired connection

Oh.. no I don’t think that would work on this
After 2 years is the unit still working? I had one of these worked well for a week, then I turned it on in the morning and it stopped working. I don't know if it's because I turned it off at night and turned it on in that made it stop working, no one could tell me what went wrong. Anyone know why it stopped working?

I’m no longer using mine.. largely because I’ve got a more powerful router now! These are generally meant to be left on, so maybe the on / off did damage..?

And what are you using now? if you don't mind me asking.
Do I have to change the WiFi network to this device every time I want to use it? I don’t keep this device plugged in all the time and now can’t remember if I have to change from my home WiFi network to the device network. Thanks.

I have added a TP that indicates solid blue …. But only the original Wi-Fi name appears - does that mean the link is not available - or is it boosting the signal ?

But does it work? That would be a good thing to know.

tried this and got a link and connected to it. I gave it a different name so I have two wifi to connect to. Today the connection keeps going off and on the wifi looses connection. Do I need to move the tplink closer or is the link just not strong enough. I am trying to hook up a Plus tv pro to it and the wifi keeps blanking out. any ideas, would be helpful. Thanks.
