About my videos: These videos are a resource for anyone wishing to wake up from the dream of separation. Awakening, enlightenment, and liberation are becoming far more mainstream possibilities than they once were. There are many good teachers out there, and if you resonate with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, or Sadhguru, you might find resources here that address these deeper promptings to investigate your true nature.
Disclaimer: The information presented in these videos is not meant to diagnose or treat any psychiatric or medical illness. The inquiries presented herein are potent and can have powerful effects on the way you experience yourself and reality. If you feel you are at risk of harming yourself or others, these videos and practices may not be the best thing for you at the moment. Seek help wherever necessary which might include a hospital emergency department, a suicide helpline etc.

The best way I can describe it is it is life energy itself. It's the baby birds in the nest given the life energy out of no where to peck for the worm. Its the pause of the mom bird observing which baby is the strongest and feistiest. Its energy and it looks alive, but its really deeply dead. Its gone before it even happened, and in the moment to moment of moments it shows its nothingness. I enjoy trying to see the image and the opposite reflection, but nothing looks back. It's the deepest peace once you're there, and it free falls down, and upward into itself, realises there's nothing and then expands into everything, all on its own. ♾

I come from the islamic tradition, heres some verses that are great pointers "And indeed We have created man, and We know whatever thoughts his inner self develops, and We are closer to him than (his) jugular vein." (Quran 50:16). No vision can encompass Him, but He encompasses all human vision [6:102-104]

I love the way you’ve boiled Mahasi-style Vipassana noting down to its most important single component: “that’s a thought”. It doesn’t get any simpler.

@@oolala53 my personal opinion is that detailed noting is very helpful while the totality of sensory and mental input is too much to process simultaneously. I also believe that the place to start (especially in meditation) is with noting thoughts, as Angelo suggests. In his book, Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha, Daniel Ingram gives the analogy of listening to an orchestra and trying to play along with a kazoo. Eventually we become able to take in the entirety of the music without needing to use the kazoo to focus on individual parts. The danger is in putting the kazoo down too early and skipping the work required to fully experience those individual parts.

38 mins. I signed up for a Liberation Unlimited guide the last time I was on-line. They're basically committed to No Self as I'm sure you know. Curiosity. Apart from my few communications with you, and these and other videos, I'm kind of alone in this. My partner is verbally supportive, but the content of the videos freaks her out a bit and she raises many objections and isn't moving towards this right now, so I don't torture her with them. Other friends take a more "manifesting personal power" approach to Spirituality generally, and are very threatened by the Heart Sutra. They'll say it's for the next lifetime. So it's like this. On one hand, confirmation is unnecessary because - well, it just is - but there was still this pull towards - well, I just called it curiosity. Doubt? Not so much. More an openness to interacting with others on the path, and towards accountability - to call me on bullshit, which they did, very politely. Fellowship, or sangha - even of the mere electronic type - is a help, no question. No Self wants to mix it up with other No Self's - how cool is that?

Is there a general group for Angelo on Facebook? I've been to retreats and those have private groups. I know one other person personally (we went to NC recently) but she is quite involved with parent care and activities. It is nice to know at least one or two people who can relate. I went to another teacher long before Angelo, but just told people it was an Indian philosophy class. Weirder than believing in aliens or flat earth. Wow, those might fit somehow for all we know, but I'll stick with disidentification from separation.

Knowledge is kinda funny now. I have such a sense of knowing, I feel maybe I should be a teacher. But I also know my place and scale of the universe lol. I understand than most, yet nothing in comparison to what is possible. Bruised my toe teaching my daughter how to skateboard, it was a message of course. Just play...

The knowingness/awareness is a true wonder. But what is taken to be actual knowlege is mostly problematic and parasitical. ☠

Spontaneous, naive questions of who am I lead me to non duality at 5 yo. I lost it later on, and found it again, the exchange went on. However, "my" actual nature was always very present and looking back, I was always living from that part of "me". With tornados of ego storms. Even physical pain, serious physical pain stopped, or better wasn't perceived as such the moment I turned off the ego presence.
