EWGF (like kazuya/dvj) - press forward, then down forward and 2 at the same time EWHF (Jin) - forward, down, down forward 2 ( the moment you press down, press 2 at the same time and slide it to down forward) Just practice the timing, you'll get it eventually especially Jin's electric Beginner's Guide 😊

​@@djohnson504x3have you ever considered a stick? I played kaz and hei for over 15 years on pad and i had solid ewgf but wavu with a thumb was a good way to wear out your dpad or thumb 😅 i started using a stick a couple of years ago and eversince wavu feels like it was designed for it haha.

Take your time when you try doing it. It's about accuracy not speed. Press 2 JUST AFTER you press down. Realistically you're pressing 2 like a frame or 2 after pressing down. But if you focus/work in pressing 2 when you press down, then roll your thumb/stuck to df, you'll get it to come out almost every time. Press 2 and down at the same time then roll to df.

@@NekroplSub try doing it slowly and being as accurate as possible with your inputs. Most inconsistencies come from trying to be too fast.

I just changed the settings for that and bam presto!! I love to make my life easier than challenging idc what anybody say!!

For all the people out there do NOT hold the Ps4 controller like this! Hold it like an pad with buttons. Look for an pillow put it on your knees, and the controller on the top. Play with TWO FINGERS on the pads it is much fast and cleaner. And there you have it. The Arcade pillow controller pad

This doesn't really help much. Doing an electric wind god fist requires you to hit both df and 2 at the same frame rate at the same time. So it's still quite difficult to execute a good ewgf.

That's a great question. I don't play kazuya so I don't really pewgf stuff. I believe DVJ is always i15? I'm not too sure anymore. It's been a while. If you want pewgf, replace the single 2 input with a button bound to 2+3 and Kaz will almost always pewgf. I'm trash tho so I can't punish i14 with electrics lmao.

On block, regular wind God fist is -10 and has no knock back. Electric is +5 on block and knocks the opponent away from you. Wind God Fist: DVJ: 20 Damage and launches Heihachi: 20 dmg and launches Jin: 20 damage does not launch Kazuya: 20 Dmg and launches Ewgf: Dvj 25 dmg and launch Hei 25 dmg and launch Jin 25 damage and launches Kaz 25 damage and launches

I'm literally just here to confirm that I was actually doing electrics. All these players crying that they can't play Reina cause electrics are too hard literally had me doubting that I was doing the right thing. Even content creators that I go to for other games were talking about needing to practice electrics. They had me so confused

@@why9266 not every single time, but enough for it to be part of my gameplan. Electric has a different animation from non electric so I'm sure that I can electric. It's precision based, focus on the input and not the speed of inputs. Speed is for perfect electric and block punishes and thats not for humans

@FairyGoddessLunaMoon using the thumbstick is less accurate. In a game where input accuracy matters, it's far better to use a dpad on the controller or if you can afford it, use an arcade stick or hitbox.
