I like that you showed your mistakes so we can learn from them. Nice job second time.

I love how down to earth you are. We all make mistakes when we are learning, but you show us in non-judgemental ways what happens when we take short cuts, get lazy, don't read all the directions, etc. Great job on the 2nd try!

Thank you so much! I try my best and I’m glad it helps to show. We aren’t perfect the first go and I think people forget that while watching other crafters

I love your videos! I did my first glass etching project a few weeks ago. It turned out pretty good, but I could have benefitted from seeing your video prior. You definitley gave some good pointers that will help greatly next time.

I etched a flower vase that I already had in my cupboard. I have no idea where I got it, but it’s probably from Dollar tree. I did do a trial dot of etching cream on the bottom to make sure it would etch. I used permanent vinyl and painters tape all around the stencil to minimize me accidentally getting etching cream in the wrong place. I wish I knew about using the heat gun to get rid of air pockets. It isn’t perfect but I am thrilled with the final result. Next time I will use some of your hints and tricks!

Bottle says to keep the cream moving for about a minute, I believe. Then you let it sit. I think the movement helps to not only combine it a bit more but also helps to get it into all areas. It says to move in several different directions.

My bottle does not have those instructions. It says brush on. Wait 1-3 min. Remove and rinse! We might be using different products so please follow your instructions if they differ from mine. Thank you.
