How to enable assistive reader text to speech on the Kindle app

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is how you can enable text to speech on the kindle app. I am using a Samsung A8 tablet to view the kindle app. The assistive reader is also available on other platforms. It works on windows as well. You can also use it with a kindle device if you have a connected blue tooth speaker.

How do I keep the text-to-speech going when I've closed my cover or locked my screen?

Do you know how to change the assistant reader’ voice on iOS?

It does not work for a few books. Maybe there is nothing that can be done then.

I think this feature it is not available yet on the iOS Kindle app. Consider using instead the iOS screen reader. Just go to: "Accessibility", then "Spoken Content", then turn on "Speak Screen", "Speech Controler" and "Highlight Content". Then you can use the little box that appeared on the screen to turn on text-to-speech reading.
