In this video editing tutorial, we go over how to edit a glitch effect in Adobe After Effects that replicated the Holomatrix effect from Red Giant Universe with no plugins required. We go over some of the effects native to After Effects that you can use to create cool glitch effects and transitions, then edit our Holomatrix glitch effect, a glitch transition, and some finishing touches that you can add to make your glitch transition and effects look as good as possible. After this video, you should be able to create effects very similar to the Holomatrix effect from Red Giant Universe without any plugins and stylize your videography work!
