    Hey just wanna say thank you for all these videos! I was feeling overwhelmed because I had already recorded 5 episodes. But realised I had zero idea about editing or getting it on Spotify. So thank you! Also I just happened to also use the Zoom H5 and XLR mics!!! Clearly it was meant to be 😁

    I highly recommend that you maybe record in Audacity too, you can keep an eye on your levels that way. Also make sure to do a huge clap to help sync up when you have two tracks :)

I'm sorry to hear that you had a rough start. just remember the only difference between you and a successful podcast is that they continued on where others didnt. Dont stress on not seeing huge numbers right away you never know when that viral moment will come and if in person a room with 5 ppl is a big deal! You have been into podcasting whereas I am here bc of a viral video that I saw telling us to get into podcasting. More ppl are becoming aware and enjoying podcasting! Position yourself for when the waves come!!! Wishing you the best! Thank you so much for responding I learned something here too and thats that I wont be alone if I feel this way myself.

    It depends on how much wind noise you want to eliminate. Audacity has a built in noise reduction element that you can use to get rid of some noise depending on how intensely you implement the element. However if you would prefer to have very little to no wind noise, I highly recommend purchasing a dynamic microphone like the Shure MV7, or Shure SM7B as opposed to buying a condenser microphone like a Blue Yeti
