Hello, I am new to beading and have finished the beading portion of my earrings. May I ask how you attached your jump ring? And was it before or after you did the initial beadwork? I haven’t been able to find any videos showing this step. Thank you so much for any help, and thank you for these videos. Beautiful work.

I sew it to the back of the bead half. Just stitch it on your bead base that way it's stable and will not slide out. Not sure what way she does it but I like jumprings since with a beaded hoop, the string slides out too easy from another jump ring or hook. Make sure jump ring ends are inside.

@@JudithMartin2014 I never got the notification for your reply, sorry. 😕 I ended buying some sterling silver jump rings, gluing them between the bead base and the leather backing layers using E600 (after initial beadwork), and then stitching it down while doing the edging. It worked very well and is extremely sturdy.

How do u attach the jump ring
