I see some people misunderstanding my point at saving teammates, there's no point risking losing the run and dying when you can't save them so reposition kill the elites spawning and save the run. BTW this kind of scenario barely happen so chill. Also Quitting the match is only a safety measure when the odds are not by your side and there's no way you can live. This can happen especially when trying this penance with RANDOMS so that's why i said that but if playing correctly and following these tips it's not even necessary at all.

The only time I couldn't save teammates is bc there was a trap set by trappers, bursters, hounds and mutants all dog piled on a downed team mate that would lead to dying

Avoid poxbursters + extra barrels. Ledges are undefeated. You will learn the hard way

Someone FINALY say it : choosing the modifier (mostly avoiding "Only Scab Faction") it's been a while since i have Auric Storm Survivor but i did it on my zealot chorus build, and when there was too much modifier or hard one i'd go on other mode to wait. I'm also proud to say I did it without leaving no game at all. It's not necessary if you play the correct way btw.

That's just a safety measure just in case people get unlucky with bad teammates but most of the time by playing correctly as you said and choosing the easy ones its not even necessary

i hit the barrels so i don t slap them by mistake when i get surrounded by mobs. Sometimes i just wake up with a full wave behind me out of nowhere and it s difficult to be aware of barrels... so fck all barels i m sick of being blasted off of bridges or ledges.

All i said is don't risk saving your teammates with too much stuff going on arround like elite spawns and random shit the AI Director throws at you, so instead of trying to save your teammate and dying just be smart and save them when there's no danger. Not sure if blocking someone makes you not playing with them again but you should try this option or maybe there's a mod that can disable crossplay who knows

I agree with everything you’ve said here. There’s nothing worse than having bad teammates who couldn’t give a shit if you died or not. And I want to also say, anyone playing the “bleeding heart” in the comments? Complete nonsense. Unless you’re playing in a team, you WILL run into a rando (or more) who’s quite out of their league, and in maelstrom that’s just pain when you have to carry extra weight. Attempting to get this title naturally + the rng of teammate quality = a massive fcking disaster. Leave if you’re downed and at a quarter health, you’ll get it in a few days . Sad but that’s how it is.

Quitting is what cancerous players do. Don't waste others time if you don't care to play the whole mission. Completed the penance without falling. It can happen.

Work smart not hard bro. I kinda gave up on letting it happen naturally when a rando detonated a barrel and flung me off the edge at the start of a mission. People shouldn’t trust rng, when you can get Bobby and his middle school friend as teammates who can’t even handle a horde. Fuuuuuuck that. Of course but you seem to forget a little thing that can happen, you can be an One Man Army but if your teammates are bad you're screwed but if people learn and use their brains by following all the other tips, leaving the game will not even be necessary

Where one bad teammate means everyone’s at a disadvantage,lol. Be real here, if you want the title, then leave if you’re downed and right about to die. Nothing more nothing less. That’s how I did it (when everyone else was already dead or downed too mind you) and I got it in 2 days. Work smart not hard.
