You gotta admit, when the protoss looses the warp prism to a bunch of turrets it's absolutely beautiful as a Terran player and a tragedy as the protoss player, thanks for the build, I'm tired of loosing ladder points to them protoss with skill batteries

Watched you do this build against Trap at the douyu cup sometime ago, been practicing it ever since its so strong! Thank you for the more extensive guide made me realize I missed somethings while doing it no wonder my timing was late.

Diamond 3 and my TvP is 35%. My TvZ is about 45% and my TvT is 80%. I need these videos so badly. I just get utterly stomped by Protoss - in the most embarrassing fashion too. Last night I lost against a Protoss that went 2 base carrier. How freaking noob do you have to be to lose to a carrier rush *that you actually scouted!* 4 months into owning this game and I am still absolute garbage. I seriously appreciate your effort in making these videos.

Good job getting to diamond in 4 months. It took me about 5 years. After 10 years, I'm now at 4100-4300 mmr.

5 months here, platinum 1 Terran. You're doing great man. In Plat what works for me the best is 3 rax timing attack with +1 attack, stim and concussive. Usually deals crapton of dmg on eco, if they don't tap out, second wave goes just bigger, with +1 armour and medivacs. Problem is if they go something hyper aggressive too. Then the attack almost doesn't make sense as half of the army is spent fighting proxy stalkers.

I have naturally moved into this build that you are doing now. I appreciate you break down of the build so now I understand what I am doing and it cuts the learning curve.

Dude, amazing build guides! This one was the one that made me try the double gass opener first time. I always started rax nat 1-1-1. Next to that following this specific build i won against three zergs and a terran in a row with ease. Sadly i havent been playing vs toss yet xD. I am close to getting diamond with terran, with this build i feel i can make it :D Thanks! (demoncasterzerg or demoncatser on ladder)

You never tested it under a canon-rush. I lose 75% of my games against protoss for not scouting at the entry of my B2 and killing instantly the probe, or forgetting to do an early 2nd depot to close the wall. Meanwhile, you and other lucky boys can build quietly and even let their wall opened like in this video...

i was just playing ladder when i met 3 terrans in a row doing this build, which i saw for the first time. Was so cunfusing before I understood that they all just watched this guide (one 6k terran lost 42 mmr btw))

@@uThermal Absolutely, yeah. I am just confused when they're all on the same hotkey as the ghosts, how do you get marines/mauraders to stim? I've yet to figure out a good way to do that without removing ghosts from the control group.. which causes other problems. As a result have shied away from using ghosts. I noticed you don't have a "marine/marauder only" control group... so just a bit confused.

this is best off standard build ever. whenever i play cheesy tosses i just open with this and it feels like it counters everything non standard

This build feels like it throws off the Protoss on top of generally doing some decent damage. Any sort of 2 base pressure Protoss normally does while taking a third feels really weak after this opening and the tank push is almost always successful at taking out their third at the least. Like it a lot

@@uThermal thanks uthermal I tried it vs terran the banshees got me good my raven came out late maybe. Also, i just tried this vs a d1 zerg and it worked very well even the inital harass got all his drones at his natural with 2 hellions and 3 reapers. Reapers destroy the queens!

Protoss just put two batteries at nat and main. then that's gg for terran lol. 3 reaper+2hellion can't even kill a sentery with a battery

Nothing really changes I think just defend the oracle with your marines or cyclone or whatever you build xD

I started playing SC2 again after many years, played only 5 ranked games yesterday and I am seemingly Gold 3 now. I found this video just today and I love this build... :) I always believed a build like this is the golden equilibrium of terran SC2 strategy. I think it is very nice and versatile build both for beginners and pros because it can be used against any race and it is still efficient and strong: No cheese. No early second CC (which is too risky imho and Astrea paid the price because of it). I like it. I also like the use of banshee - she was much more useful than a medivac imho.

The only problem is proxy stargate xD

At one point I was approaching sub 20% in my PvT. it was getting progressively worst. but after watching your vids. i have stabalized and now just over 30% win rate. Hopefully I can get to 40%. my other match up are 60% +. I think PvT is broken but maybe the strat. that I am using is bad and i only win the other match up by extremely outplaying them but its just horribly against toss... I don't know....

It's the strategy. I was at 40% in tvp. I switched strategies and got it up to 50%. I'm 4100-4300 mmr.

A big part of playing against protoss is scouting and adapting. Every protoss unit has a hard counter. You see zealots, you build mines and liberators. You see stalkers, you build more tanks and marauders. You see collosus, you build Vikings. Archons and Templars are useless when you emp them.

@@smnvalex Depends on where you siege up. I build liberators almost every game against protoss. 3-4 libs in a choke is suicide for charge lots to try to fight in. And sometimes, the only options for the protoss player are lose a base or fight in the choke.

I'm not trying to be annoying, I am just curious how is this better than 16 stim marines with 2 medivacs and one tank hitting at 5 minutes sharp?

That's not actually a build unless you do it on 1 base which makes it easy to scout and react to

How to easily destroy protoss? Easy, play Terran

Can you redo it with one SCV doing nothing but scouting at the entry of your B2 ? Because I don't know if you know, but until being Master in SC2, people have to endure constant cheeses. Canon-rush is soooo used that we have to develop counter-measure like scouting our B2 in order to immediatly send several SCV to destroy the probe and eventually 4 more to start attacking the first pylon. It means that we have at least 6 SCV monopolized for this action and half less economy. Redo this tutorial with REAL condition, we'll talk about it after. Yeah, I'm salty, but I'm tired of seing BO with no rush counter-measures. It's like pro-gamers "highlights" video in FPS : they are always shooting noobs in perfect positions.
