No, you don't. You can still boot MBR, if you want to.

You can also press shift before regular restart and it will do the same thing. Im trying to get the delete key option from the bootup back like the good ole days, hoping to find a setting I can change to do that

A much more civilised method of doing things. Modern PC's reboot so quickly my screen takes longer to wake up than my PC.

This is helpful, but doesn't work in my situation. I received a new laptop that is password protected, and can't get into the main homescreen to access the settings.

when i click the very last “restart” button my pc just goes to sleep and doesn’t turn back on unless click the power button. my monitor goes to sleep and doesn’t detect an input despite my pc, mouse and keyboard lights being on.

I don't have that option in my advanced settings. My display is messed up and I can't figure out how to get into bios

So My CPU fan was not spinning, I went into the BIOS and tried fixing it, I did the logical things and set it to ignore, Should my fan still be buzzing or making the ratteling whatever the sound was? Its not doing it YET but it would do it when I ran GTA. Hope I’ll be fine!

if you haven’t found a fix , make sure the CPU FAN is actually plugged into your motherboard .

I don't get the UEFI option. I get System Restore instead. :( - the delete button worked for me though

Use BIOS button it comes built in many motherboard bios flash switch between the display and HDMI ports

I installed a new CPU and I updated or reset something on it. That a computer suggested before booting windows.

I had bios for pressing f10 but it doesn’t exist anyore. 😡🤬
