Фильм және анимация

Max Lugavere reveals his secrets on how to drink alcohol the healthy way. Alcohol is seen as a negative stressor on the body, but used appropriately can have some benefits, watch this video on how to drink it correctly!
Alcohol has some benefits if you stick to the recommended doses, but if you over consume you are at a huge risk. Find a healthy way to deal with stress. Make sure you are consuming water and salt throughout your drinking experience. You can also drink after you have finished eating for the day because alcohol has a huge amplifying effect on the food that you have eaten.

    Absolutely true. Drink away from food as far as possible to give food a chance to absorb and not inhibit protein synthesis "AS MUCH" as it would right around food. My recipe is no more than 4 drinks per week, no more than 2 at one occasion, and at least 2 hours after meal/before the next. Also, do not consume on training days especially after training, and ideally not with training the next day either . Generally the best you'll get, with the best option being none at all. I should also add that alcohol has a caloric value! Simply counting the carbs from beer (if your bottle even gives a number) will leave your macro counts imbalanced because it fails to consider the added calories from alcohol. Err on the side of caution and be generous if you don't know an exact number

    Loved this! There’s going to be some fun/drinks here and there. Loved the realness. My go to is water between, agave tequila, and CBD oil keeps me from a hangover too. I also do magnesium citrate before bed. I’m 45 and a trainer, so a hangover is not a good fit for me!! And organic wine is so important because it’s an antioxidant (like coffee!) and not only pulls everything from the environment it’s grown in, but is (like coffee!) one of the top heavily sprayed crops there is! Yikes😬

    Fruit like grapes, cherries etc lose almost all of not all antioxidant value when brined, pickeled or fermented. Marschino cherries for instance lose their antioxidant status from brining. Pickeled cherries also seem to lose their antioxidants, as so fermented ones. Cherries when brined for canning also seem to lose their antioxidants... Grapes are not often pickeled but sometimes are and they too lose antioxidant let's. Grapes are often brined for canning (or rarely salt pickeled) but both brining methods seem to lose their antioxidants... Grapes and cherries keep a tiny bit of antioxidants when dried into raisins (pruning/drying) but even this causes significant lose. Fermenting grapes and cherries by itself only poses some antioxidants but when turned into alcohol they also brine and age it plus heating, both further reduce antioxidants. Let's review, drying, brining, pickeling and fermenting as well chemical bleaching and or pasteurizing and aging and heating and freezing also reduce antioxidants. So despite red wine containing a small amount of antioxidants it's literally like 99% less than eating actual grapes. The reason red wine has so much less antioxidants because it's fermented and brined and aged..... It's so much more efficient to just eat a handful of grapes, you need a ton aka a unhealthy amount of red wine to equal any significant amount of antioxidants because of all the processing done. No way to put it otherwise, every step in the storing, fermenting, brining and aging process not to mention the HEATING all lower the amount. You would have to drink an unhealthy amount to get equal to just a handful of actual fresh grapes...

  • @jewboybobpatriot3643

    @jewboybobpatriot3643

    3 жыл бұрын

    Quick review: all the following processes reduce nutrition and antioxidants: aging aka dry holding (no liquid involved), heating, freezing, brining, steam distillation, pickeling, pasteurizing, fermentation aka wet holding (different form of aging involving chemical breakdown and moisture), steaming, smoking, reaction with certain materials like woods, chemical bleaching or coloring, etc.... To make wine your taking either frozen fruit or fresh (if frozen lose of nutrient already) then your fermenting and applying heat then brining and/or pickeling, plus once alcohol forms and the wood barrels all chemically react on top of this, then sometimes more chemicals or pasteurisation and maybe more heating, then keeping cool until delivered then either warmed up to room temperature only to go home and into a cellar or fridge.. this means you get about same antioxidants in a few gallons of wine as a handful of grapes... Don't lie to yourself, your drinking for fun nothing wrong with that. Your glass of wine is equal to maybe a fourth of a grape at best case, a fourth of a grape is not much antioxidants usually you would eat at least several hand full... So my point is just accept you have a vice and move on, everything doesn't have to be healthy

    The best way is to drink the alcohol slowly, to let the alcohol be absorbed by mouth not through stomach, because the alcohol that passes through liver partialy is oxidadated into acetaldehyde, which is the toxic substance for our bodies. If you drink all in once (shots) the chance to get poisoned by alcohol is higher and you get the hangover effect.

    I like alcohol, all kinds of it. Beer - 4-5 times per week. Often I consume a small glass of vodka with evening meal, after workout. Per many years, and I'm looking good! Without steroids, and useless "sport-nutrition" or like that shit... I gave you a free precious advise, use it!
