Honestly man with the realism of aerodynamic and weight transfer/body roll in race sims these days, I've kinda leaned alot more into using it as a tool to improve my IRL driving. I started out with Pole Position II as a kid then eventually got my hands on Gran Turismo when it came out, and I knew even back then as a child, this shit finna go real far towards absolute realism. I just never could have imagined that simulation tech would progress so quickly to become as advanced in my lifetime. I'll be 32 this year just for perspective, I was a legit dumbass lil kid when GT released, but back then I had a hella hunch there was gonna be more to it for the future.

I would also add that it pays to be smooth when chasing or catching up to the lead driver, it can be tempting to launch up to their door if you're a bit behind, but often time's you end up falling back again because you had to brake hard. I faced this problem for awhile

When you're in a train keep your door on the rear quarter panel if you're door 2 door you're taking a shallower line and it makes it harder for the person behind you to tandem when you're last that's when you go door 2 door to tighten up the train

Some insider tips: get a good paying job to support the financial burden grassroots level stuff has on drivers, buy a simple first build and learn the chassis you choose then begin modification to suit your preferences

@@edine45 he is on VR, he is always driving in cockpit view, then later he records the replay in 3rd person view to make it easier for people who is watching to understand what the car is doing.

I keep a 1 cm distance on FR Legends, don't worry AI's...

Tbh I never liked left foot braking. I usually grab the handbrake or use the brake with my right foot still, but the one I use the most I just throw more angle and hang it all out. I sometime use the clutch if my rpms get too long when I'm just floating behind. I do a little bit of everything besides left foot braking.
