What I do is cover all the hair the. Erase but not all the way unless light is hitting it causing it to be lighter, then you cover all the completely black parts of hair, then you blend it into the lighter areas then ad light strokes on the light parts

Really enjoyed your video, very interesting. I'm pulling my HAIR OUT trying to draw white hair and beard not unlike Santa's! For some reason he end's up with ringlets in his hair and beard!!!!! I'm aiming for a frizzy & kinky beard with hair very much like what you've drawn in your video! What colour tones would you suggest for the warm side and cold shadowy side? Thank you.👍 😉 👍

Hi Kristy. If a person drew a white beard using these pencils, would it look unrealistic because of the bluish tone, if the rest of the face is finished in graphite and charcoal? I'm not crazy about making white lines by indenting the paper or using too much white gel.

Please make Blonde hair , Brown and Black hair with caran d'ache coloured pencils

It does look white, but not really very light blonde, it lacks some slight golden undertones.

Can you tell how to make white fur with graphite pencils. I like your videos a lot

I'm working on Kazuha from Genshin Impact. This video is helpful. Kazuha has a grayish hair color but I was told it was platinum blonde.

You mentioned using a Tombow product at the end to add to detail but I couldn't catch what you were using and it's not in the product list. Could you tell me what it was you were using please?

Maybe use a bigger piece of paper so you can make the portrait bigger as if you do the eyes will be larger and you can add more detail

I wish you had broken the tutorial down by color as you changed the colored pencil. I'm a beginner and you moved way too fast for me to follow. :(

Speaking a little more slowly or even having a list of the colors you used would have been of great help. You speak WAY too fast for doing a tutorial. I missed half of what you were saying; teachers don't speak that fast.
