Hi from Australia. Decades ago I used to paint sacred geometry mandalas using protactor and compass. They sold really well in the crystal alternative shops. And were so therapeutic to paint. Became disillusioned when computer generated mandalas and those coloring books came out and so moved into wildlife and landscape painting. Just wanted to say THANKYOU as you have inspired me to paint a series of chakra mandalas. love your work. Thank you

This looks great, possibly tricky but will defo try it, I sometimes have trouble dividing up the circle, but if at first you don't succeed etc. Well explained, great to watch, great to draw, learning a lot on your channel, thanks!

Thank you! I use a 2B in most of my videos but only because it shows better on camera. I prefer to use a 2H for technical drawing.

Glad you like ‘em! I just figured them out, messing around with a compass and straightedge.

What kind of compass do you use? I use a Mercurius compass, which has a tiny bit of play, which sometimes throws off my accuracy.

Do you look at the kmage of the chakra and then try to recreate it or is there some other reason to know it belongs to that particular chakra?

Thanks for this video! I’m currently drawing it, but have scrapped a few drawings already because the last circle doesn’t meet up correctly with the first circle around. Im setting compass to 4.5 cm, but still not aligning correctly.I’ll keep trying, but. Any tips?

There's got to be another way. If the first few things ain't done right, the petals won't meet up right. I've done this thing, trying to guess the measurements from what your using to inches. Blagh. I'm moving to the next one.
