There are many things we can learn by looking at the art of the great artists of the past. One of the best ways to understand how an image works is to draw it. In this art tutorial I show you one way to copy the famous print by Hokusai of The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
There are over 180 free How to Draw art tutorials on my KZread Channel, Circle Line Art School. I post a new art video every week.
There are many ways to draw and my aim is to encourage you to try a range of different art techniques and subject matter each week. If you have any comments or suggestions or ideas on what you would like to see next week please leave a comment.

Hi, Thank you, hope you have a go at drawing it too:) Kind regards, Tom McPherson
What pencil did you use for your drawing? I mean like how dark it is. if you put in how dark your pencil is, it would be helpfull. but honestly, I think you've done a great job drawing the waves and I can't wait to see more videos! keep up the great work 👍

@@Circlelineartschool I love drawing! I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil not a great Artist, average at best! But at 61 years old I still get excited when I'm getting ready to draw! Wish I was better but its still fun , just back into painting, the last time I painted in a regular basis was 40 years ago in college! I'm still adjusting and feeling things out there, I'm glad to be apart of this site and looking forward to more of your posts!
cool!
This is a great video!
Thanks!

It's funny how teachers need 7 hours +more to teach 30 students. And KZread need like about 8 mins to teach you every thing you need to know
👌
I like to just watch because there is no way i can draw this.
