Thanks for the kind words :) I'm glad you found it useful. I use a Staedtler compass, the quick setting one that allows me to change the writing tool in it, that way I can use my ink pen in it instead of pencil lead. I find it easier when I want to draw a precise circle in pen. Other than that feature, any compass that is strong, metal seems to be the best, even if they are more expensive.

Thanks, I had a staedtler picked out on Amazon. I was using a few cheapies and they just won't work consistently.

What type of compass protractor is that? Can you send me a link to were you bought it from?

Hi there! Beautiful work. I also do sacred geometry art and am using a Staedtler, but am looking for one that will hold a pen (the one I have only allows you to add the tip of a piece of lead or small pin head). How were you able to attach your pen? I am looking at the Staedtler website and cannot find the same compass. Do you have to buy that attachment separately?

I cannot find a compass that will adjust to fit a pen, which brands do you use?

Hi! I had that same problem, they are hard to find. I finally found one in an art shop, it is a Staedtler, I find that they make the best compasses. I have two types from them. This is the one I have, it has a removable end so you can have either a point or the end to fit a pen/pencil. www.staedtler.ca/en/products/technical-drawing-instruments/compasses/mars-comfort-552-quick-setting-compass/ Maybe you could find it online, like amazon or something. I hope that helps!

I have to do a project for school, & I was planning on doing this from the start because of Bring Me The Horizon

Very neat - I've yet to see someone actually create this by hand. One of my friends uses a digital animation software program to create the flower of life but he avails of a template to begin with. That is incorrect...the third circle should only be one radius away either to the left of right, not three in a row as you described.
