How to Draw Realistic Grapes (Zig Clean Color Markers)
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I didn't think the Clean Color Real Brush markers were ever going to be good for realism - but hey I was wrong! They came out with new colors - much more muted. YAY! See supplies below as well as the blog post that has more info and pinnable images: bit.ly/3DtThXx

I think the little dot is the blossom end of the grape. Lovely work. ❤️
Farmer's daughter here - first, your grapes are gorgeous! Grapes are one of my favorite things to look at because of all the colors! We didn't have grapes at the ranch, however; we grew citrus and olives. Blossom End is all I ever heard my Dad, Uncles, and Grandfather call the end of a fruit. A botanist likely has some other name for them. But Blossom End should do well even for a grape, until someone comes along with a better name.

That’ll do! Thanks!
What and gorgeous grapes. The colors! It’s fascinating to watch you work your blending magic.
Wow, wow, wow! Amazing.
I could do one or two grapes but not the bunch. lol. Just beautiful.
My work with Zigs is so simplistic that I find it astounding what you accomplished with these grapes. I loved watching you do it.
Stunning!
Snacking on my subject 🤣🤣 So beautiful ❤️❤️
Totally awesome! Thank you for sharing!
Wow! Those are amazing!
The “dots” at the bottom of the grape are the blossom end of the fruit.
the leaves are often removed when the grapes are growing, helps get more light to the fruit or to dry the fruit quicker after rain
I have had the light colors for several years. They are necessary to help blend and just add highlights. I find them much easier to use compared to copics.
Absolutely gorgeous, Sandy.
I’ve always loved drawing grapes, but these have more depth. Thank you for showing how to achieve that. I’m always in a hurry to get something on paper, I need to slow my roll look closer observe more. Absolutely stunning.
Such beautiful and realistic work!
Beautiful work. I love grapes.
These are so beautiful!!! Love it!

Thanks!
This is stunning!!! I love how you layered all the different colors. Such talent. I might have to buy these. Although I don't need them. Lol
OH MY GOSH!!! You HAVE made something beautiful and magical! What a talent❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much!
Love my Zig;s and these are stunning in your "grapes". I will have to check out the new colors. Fabulous, TFS
I love zig pens better than tombow imho. Bx
Advanced 😱 👍🏼🙏🏻
Sandy you are the master! Of all mediums! These grapes are just stunning. As far as the highlights, you might try some acrylic paint, but in a more muted color instead of white. Maybe even a light purple. Just a thought. As always TFS.
Good enough to eat! :)
Absolutely gorgeous, Sandy! I see you used Arches Hot Press paper. Would that be your recommendation for these markers with water?

They’re hard to move; I kept trying a brush and it didn’t want to go anywhere. In Mondays video I used Canson XL which blends more easily.
Awesome drawing Sandy. Been waiting for few months, I finally found the vendor that carries New ZIG 30 colors
stunner, those points ar stylar remants, lots of fruit and berries have them like we have a belly button

Wow! Amazing thank you so much! May I ask, do you store your zigs horizontally or vertically? And the brush tip up or down? Thank you so much. These grapes look incredible and I love those colours!!!

Both! I haven’t found it matters.
Lovely! May I ask if they smell at all? Strangely enough, I had a bad reaction to Faber-Castell's watercolour pencils, and am looking for watercolour markers or paints that don't provoke chemical sensitivity.
Your grapes are absolutely amazing, Sandy! I’m not sure what the actual, technically correct term is for the dots at the bottom of the grapes is called, but I’ve always thought of the side attached to the stem as as the bellybutton. lol

LOL I've heard the end of fruits and veggies called the blossom end but belly button is way more interesting and memorable.
Cool demention….
Thankfully your subject was grapes, seriously that could have ended badly. 😘

I have the original set of Zig markers. What kind of paper did you use? I haven’t had a lot of luck with mine. I listened to several videos and tried some different suggestions, but I didn’t find one I thought was great. 🥰💜

This was on hot press which doesn’t move a lot. But the colors move and blend more on Canson XL-see the previous video.
