Jesus Martinez you use a pen for the lines you know are keepers and voila you can erase the guide circles, lines, etc.

I would agree. Use pencil for the first two circles, then copy everything else in pen. Or, you could erase the circles once you have the big hexagon. , but before you do the two large triangles. Notice that all the lines are going to be drawing from intersections of lines, so those circles are not important anymore. Technically, you could erase the large one as soon you draw the 3 diameters of the circle, but that is the easier of the two to erase anyhow.

How do you get a half sized circle from a circle by drawing geometry?

Every time I try this my 2cm circles over lap and mess the whole thing up. What am I doing wrong? Cause I've tried this 30+ times now and cant get it right

Devin Burns try measuring your compass against a ruler. I noticed that what my compass says is 2cm is not actually 2cm, and that messes up the dimensions since then the outer circles won’t be double the diameter.

Sometimes it is difficult if your pencil is starting to dull. Personally I prefer to use a mechanical pencil in my compass, because it keeps the pencil lead the same width (standard pencil's get lines that are fatter as you use them until you resharpen). That may be part of the problem.

you may consider creating perpendicular bisectors instead of measuring with rulers/measuring sticks.

what software did you use to draw it, would rather do that. thx

Any vector based software that can snap to intersections should work.

Ok, so these given measurements fit perfectly on an 8x10 canvas, tight but good. I want to expand it to 11x14 canvas and increasing the cm isn’t working. Can you help me figure that out ?
