the only problem with that is when u forget the position adjustment of your hand and u screw up because u rotated ur hand an extra 4 degrees

maybe u wont see this comment since the video was posted a few years ago but i gotta write it anyway: thank you! i always wanted to draw cause i want to be able to capture moments that are important to me on paper with my personal touch (not just photograph it) but since my art teacher at school always told me how shit i am i thought i wasnt able to draw at all... when we drew hands he just took my sheet of paper and threw it in the trash giving me an F but with ur videos it becomes so easy especially to go on urself without help! so again thank you very much for ur videos theyre very much appreciated!

***** The thumb is ok but the fingers gets often short or too chubby or blobish. Feet is easier for me than drawing hands. I also think I forgot how to draw hands because some days ago was very easy to draw hands. Now I just know how to draw like a hand made by an 6 year old.

i used to have a style that was more detailed. But hands were just....*deep inhale* no. So I changed my style to an advanced stick figure. yup. advanced stick figures with circles for hands.

honestly...Drawing shoes... That's my demon, I HATE IT
I actually started to draw it without using your video, but getting to the thumb I *had* to look again it was so hard drawing the thumb out of all the fingers but I eventually got it to look right. And actually made it so it looks like the fingers are bending a little more and I really like it . Thanks for this video!

I am 11 and i started drawing at 6, i had no idea that manga existed until i found out about your channel! I really liked the style so i started to draw, i wasnt too bad at the figure but it was the hair,eyes,facial expressions,clothes and shoes i wanted help on - and thanks to you, i was able to achive what was my goal in manga. Nice video, somewhat helpful. Used to be huge into art but took a 20 year hiatus because I had to get a real job...and now trying to pick up old hobbies again. It’s amazing what you can forget over that kind of time.

I am really good at drawing hands, basically, you use cylinders for the fingers, and for the palm you use a cylinder and square. When you use cylinders you can draw the fingers in many different positions and angles.
Whenever I have trouble with hands, I need to remember that these vids are on here!! Thanks Mark!

+jean johnsen I believed that too, but its not true. Its just that you (or at least I) progress veeeeeerrry slowly. But every single time you just get a liiiiittttle bit better. I'm still nowere near perfect, but at least I'm not drawing cirkles anymore.. xD

Yeah do that find ways to avoid maybe just put them in a hoodie or just always draw a clenched fist but draw the front side of the hands and hide the fingers
