In this tutorial I will pack loads of tips on how to draw realistic fur in pastels. I'll show this on a Labrador drawing I recently completed. The layering process, the pencil technique and contrast are all such important factors to consider when drawing photo realism. I'll show my preferred method of drawing fur and how using the right techniques can massively change how much depth and detail can be achieved in our pastel drawings.
