I’ve followed Shayda’s channel for quite sometime and purchased her two e-courses. Both courses have really added to my drawing and watercolor skills! I enjoy Patreon for the bonus content and the worksheets! I highly recommend her courses & so reasonable compared to other online tutorials and courses! Thanks for the additional content Shayda! Finding this video was a miracle, I've got a heavy case of artist's block currently and your channel just gave me one big burst of enthusiasm and encouragement. I'm getting my bank account set up soon ( I'm still in school ), so it'd be cool to check out your courses when I'm actually employed.

I love seeing more of your personality shine through in each video and actually I'm here because the art looks awesome and I love learning from you. I totally get it!! I used to draw so much when I was in high school and young adult. I stopped and didn’t not draw again till I was in my 50’s! I still have times when I put it aside and do other crafts. I find (for me) taking a break keeps me excited. I’m currently crocheting, something I put aside for 3 years. I’m really enjoying it!

Well done with your knitting, it looks great! I sort of learnt to knit as a kid but didn’t have the patience for it and completely gave up! As an adult I have learnt crochet instead, which I love. That’s so lovely that your husband learned too, so he could help you!!!

I had so much fun with this exercise! I tried different pen liners, two brush pens and a waterproof brush with ink! I think I had the best results with the latter. Thank you Shayda 💖 I love your sweater and I just started knitting again after a very long break so your introduction made me smile and gave me a lot of motivation!

Oh my goodness I love your videos and then you showed your sweater. 😍 Could I know where you find the pattern for your sweater? Knitting and crocheting I have learned from my grandma. Now I am learning drawing from you as not being so stressed about what my drawing looks like. Thank you!

1:38 Ya know.... Whilst watching a video, there's the little wheel/cog in the upper right hand corner where you can change the speed of the video. (Slow it down!) And you can also change the picture quality. On my smart phone I can pinch the screen to zoom in a bit. 💖🌞🌵😷

Looks great Shayda! Love the sweater! I just found this out ~ when the video is playing, tap the screen and at the bottom of the screen comes options. Tap on the settings button and you’ll see, annotations, subtitles, PLAYBACK speed and quality. Tap on playback speed and you can make things go faster or slower . . . Hope it helps you. Its helped me a lot!!

My first drawing ever! Thank you for making it seem quite simple. I can say it looks like flowers but nothing like the cosmos. It was extremely difficult for me but I will continue. I crochet and knit but crochet more now. It was not hard for me to learn but drawing is another matter. Thank you so much.

I don’t know where your book is published but cosmos grow wild in the north eastern parts of South Africa. They do come in white but pink and magenta coloured ones predominate. We can get them to grow here in the Cape but they prefer the summer rainfall areas. Perhaps northern hemisphere cosmos only come in white? I will definitely add this to the drawings I’ve learned from you. Thanks so much!
